Please lets keep this non political. I have done a lot of internet research in the past and this never happened. I read an article that a company named Delta Crescent Energy LLC signed a deal with the Kurds in north Syria. The company name produces nothing except attending a conference.Seems very strange to me. Maybe there is somebody better than me researching.
"The sources named the company as Delta Crescent Energy LLC, a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Delaware. The sources gave no further details about the company but would only say they had been in talks for “a long time” and that it had received an OFAC license to operate in Syria."
From doing some quick research and keep running into a huge UAE company called Crescent Energy, hard for me to believe that Delta Crescent Energy is some kind joint venture between middle eastern oil company and couple rich Americans. Opening up shop in America to strike a deal and in Delaware to avoid taxes.

Seeing that the USFG is cool with it, or at least not objecting to the deal, I'd have to imagine this company has political connections.
+1
Delta Crescent was founded by three men. John Dorrier - the founder and former CEO of Gulfsands Petroleum, James Cain former President of the Carolina Hurricanes and ambassador to Denmark and Jim Reese, former Delta Force commander and founder of security firm TigerSwan.
They're not that old and probably haven't done much business and my guess is since they're not a traditional b to b and obviously not a b to c business a web presence isn't critical to their existence.
Pretty sure the Kurds aren't looking for yelp reviews to make this transaction.
