DeAngelo is a game-time decision. If he can't go, Hajek will suit up (God help us).
We don't know who will be starting in goal for either team today, but we do know the March to the Cup (or to Alexis Lafrenniere) begins in 70 minutes. Go Rangers!
Staaaaaaaal
I'm afraid so.
One clear positive: KK, as somewhat expected, has come back rejuvenated. He had so many games 2019 (incl. the Worlds) and 2020, he was exhausted and any adjustment was too much too soon for a teenager.
He has stopped being a 'deer-in-the-headlights' player, he is willing and eager to be the guy with the puck and make plays. Maybe most significantly--as exemplified by his rush into Canes end and retrieving the puck at their goal line and firing the puck from an impossible angle (that still gave Mzarek trouble)--he showed a burst of speed and skating that he just did not demonstrate during the season.
Gauthier too, more involved, more ice time, of course Fast's absence had something to do with that.
McKegg is awful; he and Howden are borderline NHLers at best.
My 'For Shame' player is Adam Fox? Why? Because he was as bad as anyone on the team but he has real talent so there's no excuse for it.
Quinn better figure out how to get people on the ice that can contribute or this is going to be a short series and on to the links.
So we traded a top-pair guy in McDonagh and a top-6 F in Miller for two low-ceiling prospects who are now borderline NHL players, a late first rounder (we'll see how Nils Lundkvist fares in 2022) and a second rounder.
It's not Porzings trade-bad, but that was a horrible deal. The Staal trade was bad. The Smith trade was bad. The Trouba trade looks like it'll be a REAL clunker. Paying 8M per for 7 years for average play isn't going to cut it. Meanwhile, Pionk has found his game in Winnipeg and the first round pick they got from us was used on a promising defenseman named Ville Heinola.

Oh and I forgot the Ryan Graves trade. THAT was horrendous.
Weird, it looks like you're right, but there are pictures on twitter of the Rangers lineup card with Shesterkin as the starter. Really not sure what's going on.

Igor practiced yesterday but Quinn said it would be a gametime decision. Guess he made his decision late.
Isn't that the whole team?
Quote:
But Zibanejad and Panarin have done nothing 5 on 5.
Isn't that the whole team?
Lol, true.
You need goals to win. No?
Just lifeless
I think it's easier if you listed the Ranger contracts over the year that weren't absurd.
