NFT: College Loans

my first kid is heading off to college (or maybe just online) and we are looking at loans. people keep telling me sallie mae is one of the better ones. any experience with them or another lender you recommend? especially if there is one that has a better selling point etc. thanks for any help!

conundrum when you live in HCOL places and your child is applying as a dependant student. Many don't qualify that need it because comparatively, they have high incomes, but in reality, are living very middle class.

Citizens Bank private student loans had a clause in it that basically said "if the student makes three consecutive years of on time payments you can remove the co-signer"

This was available 5 years ago when i co-signed for my daughter...
