The Eagles coach now has Covid. Season looks in jeopardy....unless we do something proactive. You know the NBA has the bubble. Let’s do them one better. My plan is to pick a domed stadium. I don’t care which one. The whole NFL lives there. Players, coaches, trainers, etc. No family. No one leaves until the season is over. Film everything. People will go insane. Teams may form gangs. Provide them with insufficient food. Pump shitty music into the speakers. No team gets any practice time. They’ll have to learn the playbook by playing Madden Football. When there’s a game, the remaining 30 teams have to watch and perform the wave once per quarter. Winning teams get more food rations each week.
You won the webz today, bruddah.
I truly think that this is going to be worse than baseball and even if the majority of players dont opt out, by mid to late november, when people usually start getting colds, the league will have to either shut down completely or take a major pause.

I think you can have a fantastic system on paper but if guys treat COVID restrictions like they've traditionally treated curfew, this is going to go south in a hurry.
I wish there was a way to put the league in a bubble for a 16-game season, but I don't think it's feasible. Maybe 8 weeks, tops, and then playoffs with about half the teams making the tournament. Maybe you could bubble the playoffs. Maybe. But again, if even a few players on each team cheat on restrictions, it all falls apart.
