Darius Slayton 2019 highlights

I hope he hangs around

He and Jones seem to have some chemistry.

Even Eli got in on the action.

If watching the rookies connect doesn’t get you pumped as a giants fan

I don’t know what would.
I am convinced that Slayton is not fluke

He was exactly the type of WR the offense needed. I look forward to the offense playing as a complete unit for a change.

Hopefully Slayton remains healthy because no team in the NFL has had worse luck with receivers suffering career altering injuries in their prime.
Great pick by DG and the scouts for certain.

Hopefully he can continue his development as the WR corps really need a guy like him. Actually a few guys like him.

This is why you don’t trade away picks so easily.
I really like him

Looking forward to seeing more of him and less of SS and Golden Tate, lol.
I always liked him at Auburn & thought

he was a good pick in the 5th round, but he exceeded my expectations last year. Let's keep it going.

Rarely do the Giants take a player I want when they are on the clock on day 3. Darius Slayton was a rare exception. I began following Slayton after Sy had him ranked as his 5th best WR in the draft. After watching his highlight videos it was obvious that he was a burner.

I expected Slayton to be a 1 dimensional but valuable part of the offense as a deep threat. I didn't expect Slayton to play as well as he did while showing versatility and much better hands than advertised.

Start sending in your picks Jay. The Giants need your help!
I like him a lot

but see him as a #2/#3 type. Not a guy you want as your primary WR.

To me, he is eerily similar to Ron Dixon who I was a huge fan of.
Ron Dixon caught 36 passes in his entire career.

Agree Slayton feels more like a #2 WR but Ron Dixon was like a #6 in his best year.
Very obvious...

Slayton is excellent in tight coverage. Not many plays was he wide open and not many throws from Jones from a clean pocket. I hope that changes this year...
