for out of market games.
I live in South Central PA and typically go to the sports bar to watch the Giants.
Seems like Direct-TV has a monopoly on the games. With fewer people gathering in sports bars, do you think they may change the rules and provide access through their App or through cable providers?
What are you hearing?
but almost assuredly in 2023 they will move to either release their own platform like MLBtv or sell the rights to a bigger platform looking for content.
AT&T will likely fold Directv once the Sunday Ticket contract runs out
No confidence there will be a season, controversies and COVID just too much a threat for the investment.
Hope you find one. Go Giants!
Go Giants!!!

I suspect you are right about AT&T wanting to shed DirecTV, though. Doubt they shut it down, exactly, maybe sell it. Unless they have a new product to use the satellites.
If there's no season I may skip the year
They have the sunday ticket streaming pkg. If you live in an apt or some place without the ability to get a dish you can get it. It's a bit pricey though of course. There is another option if you know any college students. They get can get the streaming pkg for $100. They even do a deal and I've gotten it fore $80 for the whole season. Local games are blacked out, but you can use an antenna or vpn to get around it if you're blacked out.
