Hard to believe, but I've never even tasted an energy drink. Is it really any different than a couple of Mountain Dews or a strong cup of coffee? If I were to give one a try, which would you recommend? Thanks!
Those are for Giants games. I will not be doing that this year. Sucks but that IS this shit-can we call life, am I right?
My choices, though are between "REDBULL: THE ORANGE EDITION" or "RED BULL: THE GREEN EDITION"
I was pretty reckless with energy drinks in my 20s but have cut down drastically. My worst was when I was in college and I believe that I graduated in... 2015. Who the fuck cares?
id just avoid them. I was in college in the early 2000's when redbull was new and i def abused it. Now im pretty sure my stomach would revolt if i drank one.
If your dying to try one, my wife is very health conscious and landed on Celsius as an energy drink, ive never tried it though so i cant speak to its taste but she says its solid and gives her a boost.
if I can't stay awake or alert then I just shouldn't be doing whatever it is i'm trying to do.
Don't like the way high doses of caffeine make me feel anyway. I drink a lot of coffee but its mainly for taste - I often switch to decaf and don't feel any difference in the morning.
...afternoon. I'm not a coffee drinker at all so really the only caffeine I have.
My favorite all time was Xyience but they're rarely available in my area now so it's online only if I want to go that way. Rockstar used to make one called Rockstar Sparkling which had a green tea extract for caffeine. Clear and more mild flavored (only 2 options if I remember) but really good. Discontinued them probably 4-5 years ago.
A couple others I'll grab regularly are Rockstar Zero TMGS and Monster Ultra Fiesta.
Most of the new shelf space around me is going to super high-potency brands like Bang and Reign (Rockstar has some in this range too) which I don't like at all. They have 300 mg of caffeine, aminos and some have creatine and are marketed more as a pre-workout or performance drink. But they have flavor line-ups that are more geared toward 10 year olds (cotton candy, marshmallow, unicorn poop, etc..)
You'll never be more hydrated or energetic. I swear by it.
this is one habit that I have tried a couple of times and I just can't make it stick. The taste is awful to me.
I hated it at first. It's honestly gotten to the point where I like it better than plain water now. I know it's weird but I'm so used to it. Great hangover cure too.

Gatorade G2 they all taste the same to me.
And a cup of Joe with cream and a little sugar to get the engine started each day. :)

Avoid energy drinks, they are horrible for you, and if you dont like coffee find a healthy alternative
