just putting this out t here ... I personally don't think this is happening but you never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday during a video conference that his team is gearing up for fans at AT& T Stadium during the 2020 season. Jones noted that he's confident Cowboys fans can adhere to any rules for attending games.
"I am completely confident that if I've ever seen a general population have had information of where the issues are, where the vulnerabilities are, how to conduct yourself, the do-right rule relative to the person with you and beside you that you do or you don't know, I'm confident that we have very educated situation and that our fans can come and have a safe experience at our stadium along with of course our players having the safety they're required on the football," he said. |

That's where much of the money is anyway, right? And with the suites you are able to separate the fans into groups of people already associated with each other.
Being able to attend a game would be such an exclusive experience this year, they could charge even more than usual....
I wonder how the visiting team will take it if they are subjected to a packed stadium and get sick?
>:)
wow this could actually work ..
if you limited the amount of people in each private suite .. and they were masked the entire time ..
NFL football, beer and looking out for the well being of other fans don't exactly go together.

I mean it’s not going to happen but we’re worried about fans 80+ feet away from players now? So much for 6 feet ..... now it’s 80.
Ok.

Ok.
Pack 50K (that's half capacity) into Dallas with the roof closed and have the Giants go in there and end up sick.
Not the distance as much as air flow and amount of people screaming

So you went ahead and decided not to read the article. Dismissed. Site really needs an ignore feature.
There is a lot selective outrage over gatherings during Covid.
We as Giants fans can't attend, therefore the whole league should have no fans in the stands. Make it consistent!
Jerry acts like they are perennial champions and call the shots in the NFL.

you mean the this quote-
Jones added that the Cowboys will follow state and local protocols when it comes to how many fans are able to attend games. Currently, Texas allows 50 percent capacity for sporting events. As with all things COVID-related, those allowances can change over the course of the season.
Yeah you are right about having the ignore feature it would be helpful.

Jones actually said in the article —
Jones noted that because of the expansive nature of the stadium, which has a multitude of suites and he believes has more places to put groups of 5-10 people, the ability to fit more fans at a safe distance is greater than some other stadiums.
It’s also an 80,000 capacity stadium (googled it) so not sure where your 50,000 estimate above come from even if you ignored Jones statement and used the max capacity on a Texas rough guideline from months ago. Out your ass I suppose.
I couldn’t imagine walking into the stadium without wearing a mask.
Also, drunks are inevitable, and drunks are bad at following CoVid rules.
Texas has almost 100,000 more cases that NY and less than a third of the deaths. California and Florida have even better outcomes thus far.
People can get on the states opening but I think they just recognize there is no guarantee of a vaccine and they want to try the have the best economy possible while trying to maintain the best safety practices. Seems like the smarter approach then shutting down and continuing to add to the state tab. Some of those Northeastern states are lucky they have the benefit of Wall Street yet are still running enormous tabs.
The mental toughness of the Frozen Tundra and Brett Favre.
The exceptional smarts of dealing with a Belichick coached defense.
Proud of them all and they seemed to do what was needed to get the job done. All were done without having a home game.

This,
The selective outrage of what gatherings can and cannot be allowed during Covid is a difficult argument to support.
