I was thinking about the amount of players that New England had OPT out this season. Then I started to think there has to be an angle. Bill always seems to have one and also seems ahead of the rest of the league when it comes to the grey areas.
Do you think the league will grant extra draft picks in 2021 for teams more effected by COVID then others?
I understand the theory that NE is going to dump to get the first pick but it doesn't seem like a Belichick thing to do.
Maybe that is what he is doing(the opposite of what is expected).
It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
The interesting question would be how do they handle the draft if the season isn't completed? But getting ahead of ourselves there.
The only draft consideration I see possibly coming is the draft schedule based on if the NCAA plays FB in the Spring.
An excuse why the team isnt as great without Brady? Doubt it
A way to show he can win with any players? Meh
Coinsidence? Maybe, but I doubt it.
Was just something rolling around in my head.
