I think the other thread got 86'd. Anyway - watched a little of Clippers-Mavs today - no KP again. Tim Hardaway Jr. went 2-11 from three-point range and was minus 31 in 33 minutes. Doncic is great but that's not much of a supporting cast he had today. Clippers move on and the Mavs are done.
I think he is trolling at this point
I think he is legit pissed they let Butler go, but i think he is trolling with his mountain dew commercial..
Thry will hire a coach and see what happens, maybe by the deadline they start fielding calls
Now the question is who is embiid mad at..
It was in Minny where Butler had an issue with Towns and Wiggins, basically calling them soft. He appears to have been correct with that assessment. But Towns and co. didn’t want to hear it.
Butler is just a pit bull. Whether he scores 10 or 25 points, he’s helping your teammates win. I’m glad he’s having this moment.
Giannis needs to step the up and win this game.
Good Lord.
Dragic i thought was a bad call, he stood straight up..
Miami is a bad matchup for the bucks, heat are athletic and have a bunch of good defenders and shoot the 3 well..
Heat can player small woth Bam at center, heat can switch on everything, converge on giannis and are quick enough to get out to shooters..
Yeah, making a mess as usual. One good thing about the Knicks sucking is not having to tolerate this garbage deciding your season.

probably forgot he had okc winning

On one call he needed dantoni to tell him what to call..

Series isn’t over but the Bucks and Giannis need to play better.

I don't disagree with anything you said. I posted before Game 1 how this was a big series with Miami as a live underdog.
But Giannis is about to win his 2nd straight MVP, the list of players in NBA history to do that is incredibly small (shoutout to Steve Nash). He's the DPOY on top of being the MVP in the same season, a feat that only Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon have accomplished.
They were on a 70 win pace for most of the season, even as late in the year as through 60 games (52-8 record). They went 4-9 to end the year (3-5 in the bubble), but even with that they were by far the best regular season team this year. Best defense, elite offense, best regular season player, a solid 2nd all-star, good depth, coach of the year candidate. Their advanced numbers as a team were also borderline all-time great before they struggled at the end of the year.
It's one thing to lose to the 2019 Raptors who were one of the most talented defensive rosters in recent memory and were led by an all-time great "when he plays" in Kawhi Leonard. But losing to the 2020 Heat who are a really good team with good defenders led by a borderline Top 10 player in the league in Butler is not the same thing. I know it's a tough matchup for the Bucks, but the Bucks were so good in the regular season that it just shouldn't matter. Giannis was so good, that it shouldn't matter.
Down 0-2, this is very interesting now. Giannis has never felt this kind of pressure before. There's always a time when the love affair of a rising superstar athlete ends and we start hating. That time is coming really really fast if Giannis doesn't step up and beat a good but not great team like the Miami Heat.
Bucks have good complimentary pieces around giannis, but he needs another star
I didn't. It was evident from the jump that he was an incredible on defense, but his offense game was a few notches behind. It's a testament to his work ethic & competitiveness.
But even as someone who was high on him, I was thinking he'd become a Shawn Marion type. Defense, rebounding, energy, respectable 3pt shot.
Never did I think he'd become the closest thing the league has seen to 2nd 3-peat MJ. I'd say he's even closer stylistically to '96-'98 MJ than Kobe ever was. The difference is Kobe took and made a ton of tough shots, whereas Kawhi and MJ just get easy shots at will. They're not identical, Kawhi's bigger and MJ is quicker and more fluid. But it's crazy that Kawhi has become THIS good.
I don't have much hope of the Rockets beating LA. I'm assuming we're going to get an All-LA Bubble battle to decide the West. And holy crap will that be epic, assuming everyone stays healthy.
His ball handling and passing/ playmaking have really taken another level. To me he is the best player on the planet and its not really debatable. The top tier is Kawhi, Lebron and Durant but hes the best overall without question. Incredible talent.
He will jjst tell them he is not signing extension...they wont trade him
Budenholzer said he wont play giannis or middleton more minutes
I read he said it is to many minutes and no matter ehat eont go more..
I dunno he will most likely be fired, he is a good coach to, but the bucks are goingnto do anything in their power to make giannis happy
The apocalypse is nigh.
+1.
