Old Time Photo Thread: the 1990 Giants

In Bill Parcells words: "the most underestimated team ever."

30 years ago they began their journey to the Super Bowl, taking out a three-peat and the offense of the future.

Although a little sad to see Old Time photo and the year 1990. The seasons go fast.
Thanks for posting

Great memories.

Though as Chiefgiant said, where the *bleep* did the time go?

The ‘86 team were most likely better, but my two favorite teams in the SB era (a tie) were the ‘90 and ‘07 Giants.
Please don't tell me 1990 is considered an old-time photo

Hahaha! I know, I had to think it over myself before posting. I decided 30 years will be the minimum.

The1990 season was my senior year of college. I went to SUNY Brockport which is in the heart of Buffalo Bills country, so this was a special season for me. I figure now that my son is a college graduate as well, I can call it “Old Time” :-)

Such a great season. That was a fun team to watch in both sides of the ball.
I knew they were gonna win it that season.

...with Ronnie Lott lurking lol.....looks like he's almost photoshopped in!!!!!

That was one physical football game, perhaps the most physical I remember watching during that era.
Ronnie Lott looks 300 lbs and 8 feet tall...

These never get old.
seeing OJ and Mark Ingram reminds....
BillKo : 9/14/2020 10:16 am : link
...of a very funny exchange between the two, as seen on America's Game.

Ingram: "Hey, remember that player OJ Anderson..he was great. I used to pretend I was him in my backyard."

OJ: "That's great."

Ingram: "What ever happened to that guy?"

OJ: "Ingy, you ain't going to believe this. I'm him. That's me!"

Awesome pics

What a time to be a Giant fan.
This was the first season I remember watching games with my dad.

I was only 7 years old in 1990. The fact that this was the first season I actually remember watching Giants games and it was a year in which they won the Super Bowl always meant alot to me. Great team and year.
