I just don’t want Haskins to be so bad that the Skins are in position to draft Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields. Adding either to those two to that defensive front 7 would make them perennial playoff contenders.
Eagles on their opening drive after a three and out by the Redskins. Right down the field, mostly to Goedert, and then the TD to Wentz. Aside from one play where the Redskins blitzed, Wentz had plenty of time to throw. Nothing from Young.
to outplay Darnold. Not that Darnold is not good, merely that Allen is far too athletic and has improved his football IQ and accuracy. On a personal note, I wanted the Giants to draft Allen instead of Barkley. We'll soon see whether Jones is good enough to show I was wrong.
Flowers looking better at LG in 10 minutes than he ever looked at LT

I see the Jets offense is already in mid season form lol
I forgot Desean Jackson was back. He’s like the turd that no matter how many times you flush the toilet he just won’t go down.
The Eagles are missing a few players on their OL IIRC, including Lane Johnson. But yes, Washington's front four is very good, which isn't surprising given that many are first round picks.
Haskins with a near INT.
RE: RE: The Redskins D line has sacked Wentz 4 times already.

I also see a lot of missed assignments, i.e. not recognizing stunts, etc., which has given the Redskins some free rushers.
The Giants dodged a bullet not drafting Sam Darnold. He's not good. And half this board couldn't fucking shut up about how bad Gettleman botched that draft by not taking a QB - particularly him.

Give me Barkley and Jones all day.
Definitely feeling better about it by the day. More concerned about the Jets landing Lawrence at this point.
(I'm assuming Jones is gonna take the next step this year.). But at the time of the 2018 draft, we didn't know Daniel Jones was gonna be an option the very next year. Duke isn't exactly known for producing great NFL talent. And even still, we lost to the Jets last year and they finished with a better record than us. I don't think that will happen this year (at least I hope not), but it's not like the Giants have been world-beaters since they passed on Darnold, either. They've actually been even worse than the Jets. Don't think that will be the case this year, though.
Week 1 of the NFL and people are already going on about the draft. It seems folks really prefer the off-season. The draft analyst industrial complex has completely perverted football.

Giants fans get a pass. We’ve picked in the top 5 for 3 years in a row

It has, though Fat Man drilled me for picking on it some time ago (infamous "boil and bubble" set).
But how much better off they'd have been if the Browns drafted Lamar Jackson #1 overall.
IMO it’s not that simple, bc there’s no guarantee a shit org like Cleveland would have been as committed to building the offense and team around him the way Baltimore has
But you’re right that in year 3, how good are they feeling about Baker so far?
Don't worry, my broadcast was interrupted by a breaking news segment about it and... wait a minute, I just got an emergency broadcast on my cell phone about it too.
I am still holding out hope that this division could be won (gulp) with an 9-7 record or possibly an 8-8 record as no team in this division is necessarily strong, especially with the new coaching staff at the helm for 3.

Nothing wrong with that. It’s only week 1, but neither Philly or the WFT is making anyone say “oh shit we have no chance“ so far
Damon Harrison Sr.
@snacks
I’m excited to watch Pat Graham’s defense today. Probably the brightest defensive mind in football. His knowledge is crazy!!!

Is having a terrible day. So many targets. Huge 3rd down drop. Baker struggling to hit them because Baltimore is blanketing the WR's.
Turned out to be a good trade.
Even setting aside whatever we get from Peppers and Lawrence (both of whom are among our best players), it was addition by subtraction. Can you imagine the added drama if Judge and Jones had to manage OBJ’s ego?

The more I'm happy we have Daniel Jones. He's just a better passer than those 3. Simple as that.
add Mayfield to that group
Allen looks as if he’s putting it together. To say Jones is better than him at this point is just being a homer. Jones may very well be better at year end, but that will mean he had a good season.
too many designed runs though. Not sure if that’s to mask the throwing woes or to make it easier for him to throw but it isn’t sustainable. They lose today vs an average team.
But I keep finding myself referring to Washington as the Skins, Haha. I'm becoming my old man, who used to call Barry Bonds Bobby Bonds. I guess it's hereditary.

I'll probably be still calling them the Redskins out of sheer habit years from now lol
The Eagles OL not only lost two quality starters before the season started but Peters is 38 and likely can't handle LT anymore. Their OL is going to struggle all year and they really don't have too many weapons, IMHO, to think they'll pick it up by leaps and bounds.
The Skins front 7 on defense is solid but we knew they would be. I'm not sold on Haskins.
needs to be fired like yesterday. What he did in this 4th quarter deserves a pink slip tomorrow morning. He blew 7 4th quarter leads last year because he's one of the if not the worst coach in the entire league. He has no idea how to handle any late situations. Up 10 with 4 minutes to go, 4th and 8 from the bears 38 yard line. Bears have all 3 timeouts. Instead of punting it, he kicks the field goal and misses. Now the bears have the ball down 3 and driving.
more local network is giving us Jets/Bills as bonus coverage. I don't recall hearing any fake crowd noise boos during the Pats game. Must make the Jets feel right at home.

Yup, then Philly’s backup RT left with an injury in Q3. They’re nowhere near what they used to be up front
I watched some of the Skins snaps despite not wanting to watch the NFL. My takeaway is that Philly's offense is a mess and likely will be for the season.
...The Skins front 7 on defense is solid but we knew they would be.
Solid? Solid? LOL, SGM, a shitload more than solid. Yes, may be different against a solid OL, which the Eagles don't have right now, but that foursome up front are scary good.
Washington’s got a hell of a DLine too! Chase Young definitely was a factor today with Kerrigan on the other side. Washington offense looks efficient, but unspectacular. If Washington is going to win games this year, then it will be there Defense that is the cause. Nothing like seeing an Eagles loss as well.
Defensive God has flaws? No way. Don't tell the fans who were livid the Giants passed on him (several non-Giants fans were curious why as if he was a lock to be a stud).

It might have been the most egregious mistake ever made by a rookie in his approximately 10th professional play in all of NFL history!
care to share any thoughts you have from the games you've seen so far?
Random order:
NYJ vs BUF
-Darnold hasn't changed the number one weakness we discussed prior to the 2018 Draft. He is reckless...not in a Brett Favre way. Poor decision maker under pressure.
-Thought LT Mekhi Becton looked OK...penalty and 2 pressures (didn't see the whole game yet). Plus run blocking though...his size is going to make a difference even if his footwork doesn't improve.
PHI vs WAS
-The PHI offensive line was already down 2 OL. Then they lost 3 more OL today. Not sure how long Johnson/Driscoll are out...if it is extended time they are in serious trouble. Their depth isn't there...not that many teams could make it down 4 OL....
-Wentz looked off when he threw downfield. Pressure jitters? Not sure yet. But he didn't look good. Wild high and wild wide.
-Wasn't impressed by Haskins...but damn that WAS D-Line is so legit. I want to see them against a better OL...but there may not be more than 3 or 4 better pass rushes when it comes to 4 guys than them.
MIA vs NE
-Newton looked like the old runner that helped win CAR a lot of games years back. But all the running and pounding...isn't that what got him hurt so often? He looks like tight end taking countless unnecessary hits.
-NE is going to win 10+ games still...they are just coached so well. Mechanically and schematically.
GB vs MIN
-I laughed when people started talking down on Rodgers. He isn't done, and he isn't close to being done. He does more, with less, than any QB in league.
-MIN played a risky personnel game the past 2 offseasons. They have so much youth and inexperience at cornerback...that is a near-no no for a team that is in their Super Bowl window. They have already had major issues against good passing offenses, they are AWFUL outdoors against winning teams...just don't know about them
CHI vs DET
-That was such a DET loss. They had that game in the bag...playcalling turned in to a disaster in 2nd half and Patricia, a defensive head coach, continues to fail defensively.
CLE vs BAL
-This may be a make or break year for Mayfield. The OL didn't help him today (rookie Wills had a bad day)...but he has a handful of throws that were backup-caliber. He loses his composure so easily. Not a good sign.
-That said, BAL offense is such a machine. They seem to do whatever they want...in the regular season anyway. I do question their OL a bit though..Jackson saw a decent amount of pressure.
-JK Dobbins is going to be their top RB this year
IND vs JAC
-Biggest surprise of the day. Thought IND no doubt went this one...I was very wrong. IND can't lose to a team that has 36% of its roster made up of rookies.
-Minshew is "an annoying" QB. He doesn't shoot himself in the foot, he creates on his own, and he has serious moxie down the stretch. I'm not sold yet but they may not need a QB next April....
SEA vs ATL
-Metcalf needs to stop dropping easy passes. Kid has the elite talent but if he wants to be just OK...he can't drop balls at the rate he currently does.
-SEA running game is so deep. Carson is the most underrated RB in the league but Hyde is quietly very solid still. If the SEA defense keeps it together...12+ wins for them.
-ATL...I viewed them as a bottom 10 team in the league this year...they may be worse. They aren't going to stop anyone and even though I like Ryan...he can't make up for it well enough anymore. That front office has done a horrific job building the defense.
I'm not a Murray guy...but I'm not a big fantasy guy either. I guess their scheme produces numbers and such. As a QB comparison...not even in the same church, let alone same pew.
What are your thoughts on Rivers? People have been touting Indy as a SB contender. They are going to have a tough time just getting out of their division, and to me Rivers is continuing to be that guy who is adequate but no longer able to lead a team - in fact, his 4th quarter's for the past season have been terrible

IND is one of my dark horse teams to go far...can't seem them getting by BAL/KC but I do think they can make some noise. Not just because of Rivers...I think their OL is very good and the defense can be better than last year.
Here is the thing, though. Rivers has never been good in September/October (under .500)...and he is almost always good in November/December (25 games over .500). Add in that this was not a great year to bring in a new QB to a team with inexperience at WR...I think they will start slow. But I project them to pick it up late and surge in to the playoffs as a hot team a la TEN last year.
I mean what are you supposed to do? He wasn't even sliding, he fell forward so by the "letter of the law" he could have kept going if no one touched him. Plus the guy barely touched him
TB is going to SURGE in the 4th quarter unless Brees can put together a drive. I'm surprised this Saints offense has been held down so easily.
And just like that, The Saints and Brees get one deep; score a TD; and now recover a muff on ST's.
I felt the Saints and Bills were locks to WIN today. I have Pittsburgh beating the Giants tomorrow much like the Skins beat Philly: dominating front seven.
Secondary is horrible. Dl gets nonpressure but continues to jump offsides.
Now LVE hurt with another concussion or neck injury and could miss some time.
I know its week 1 but boy do they look beatable
Think the same will be said of our team. They have a potent offense, but yeah I agree that defense is pathetic. I think after watching the eagles and skins that our division is very much open for the taking by whomever wants it.

wasn't really a fluke...they've got issues. Injuries and opt-outs have them vulnerable.
Cowboys have some things going on along the OL plus some defensive turnover to monitor too. I don't think the NFC East will be bouncing back this year...there might be an opportunity to compete later in the season if this team can survive the early part of the schedule.

True. God it would feel so good to be competing again haha
announcers talked up Smith as a feel good story. Collinsworth teed it up early on by saying Smith has made a remarkable return to the field and the coaches and players say the guy has been a force in practice and that they will talk about it later.
Then Michaels talked about him being back with the montage of the timeline and instead of anything critical being said, it was all positive.
It isn't like there's nothing to overlook from the negative side:

If Aldon Smith had just talked to gramma and made the man inside line up to the man outside (or whatever the fuck they said) well then we might have avoided a rather long and violent west coast one man crime spree.
Great story though, really great story that makes us all feel good.

This. My cowboys buddy thought I was nuts I took Giants 18-1 to win NFC East this year. I overwhelmingly believe it's the Cowboys, but they aren't some juggernaut and have so many question marks including the big one, Mike mMcCarthy who is the bizzaro world version of Tom Brady and BB. His success was entirely dependant on Aaron Rodgers in his prime. Plus hiring Mike Nolan? NFL is all about coaching.
The Cowboys are one injury to an offensive tackle away to MASSIVE problem with the offense the want to run, which is clearly going to carry team.
If not the Cowboys I seriously think we are next team up. Eagles problems along the offensive line with a frail QB. Washington is a dumpster fire. So that leaves us with a second year QB who looks to be a very good one if he can clean up his turnover issues. At the very least he's competent. Paired with a tremendous set of weapons and an offensive line that will be at least competent. Defense stinks, but 8/9 wins probably gets the East this year. I like the potential of our offense. Think Saquon will put up a historic year and it's enough to get us there.
If you got the Giants at 18-1 then your friends are idiots for questioning that...without a Belichek/Brady Pats or Chiefs like favorite in the division, that's a good number for almost any team. Let alone a team with a 2nd year QB in a division that didn't have a team that won more than 9 games last year. Where the best teams in that division are losing key OL pieces almost every week...

Like many Cowboys fans, he believes that Jason Garrett is the reason they have "underperformed" and Mike McCarthy is a super wizard. I just don't see it, in fact gun to head I'd take Garrett. He's a good head coach. So is McCarhy, but how many guys could win a superbowl with prime Aaron Rodgers. What has the guy accomplished with backup QBs?
Is a bozo, the cowboys will be worse with him. At least Garret wasn't a puppet, but that's all Mccarthy is going to be to Jerry Jones. Jones is why that team crashes every year, it's going to happen sooner this season.
is that I think Moore has the keys to the offense. For now at least. Even if it goes to McCarthy, they may have the horses in the WR corp to run his Mickey Mouse WCO. They'll probably neglect Zeke though. Speaking of Zeke, that OL is due for regression and they'll definitely start to feel it now with the retirement of Frederick and injury to Collins. Tyron Smith isn't getting younger either. That defense was loaded with talent but they've already started to shed 2nd contracts...see Byron Jones. Smith and LVE are awesome but have their questions in run defense.

You guys are priceless. A good many posters on this site were saying the same thing until of course Garrett became offensive coordinator here and now you are all acclaiming his genius.
Garrett has been a good head coach? Great? Absolutely not. I watch football with my buddy who is massive Cowboys fans and just says he's shit because they think all he does is stand on sideline and clapped. From my point of view he generally was pretty good with time management and always had his team prepped to play. The straw that broke the Camels back was when they didn't show up against the Jets last year. That's when the pitchforks came out. He's hated Garrett for years and I just never understood it.
Bozo. Horrible to walk away from points down there but Mccarthy thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He sold Jones a lie about all of his deep analytical dives, he's just older and more out of touch now.
with Aldon Smith? He's been mostly disinterested, he hit Goff in the helmet and didn't get called and then he falls into a sack? That's impressive? Ffs, I like Collinsworth and Michelle a lot but this love fest over a criminal who has barely made an impact is bizarre.
That will see McCarthy take a lot of heat and rightfully so. You have to tie the game there when you’ve got the shot. 4th and inches ok maybe but 4th and 3-4 you kick the Fg and tie the game.
Philly Dallas lose. And they both didn’t look that good and Dallas suffered injuries as well.
Getting to be like the NBA- the big stars play with a different set of rules. There is no way that would be a flag if Hopkins or Julio Jones was the receiver.
I completely agree with the call, and not just because
it went against the Cowboys. If a receiver can extend his arm like that, he can create and maintain separation from a better, faster DB throughout the play. The DB won't ever have a chance to contest the catch.
To me, it was a textbook example of why the rule exists.
RE: Yeah we all despise the Cowboys more than life itself
But that was a horrific call. That's 2 players hooking eachother's arms and competing. Oh well too bad. Fuck the Cowboys.
The wr jammed his arm out to build space between he and the defender. He pushed off. It wasn’t blatant pass interference but he definitely pushed off. Ramsey isn’t going to sell anything there he’s trying to cover the guy and lost space because of the arm extension from Gallup.
And really, cry me a River. The more painful the loss the better.
about McCarthy. He's like he won a Superbowl what has Garrett ever done? Some guys that win Superbowls are just good coaches who had great QBs and a great defense. Rodgers was unreal in his prime, I think people forget that already. Strangely he's a guy that talks about the ridiculous plays Rodgers pulls out his ass to win games all the time. McCarthy was one of those good coaches who won a Superbowl. Put Garrett in the same situation can't see why he wouldn't win one either. All offseason it was how good the Cowboys are going to be now they got a real head coach.
As far as that pass interference goes it wasn't nearly as bad as the missed call with the blow to the head that led to Cowboys score. McCarthy absolutely summed it up perfectly in his post game. Essentially that by the rule of the book its an OPI, but when the hell do you ever see that called in that spot? I thought the same damn thing after I watched it.
The Brady Bucs lost in bad fashion. Glad the steam has been taken out their sales living here. I usually root for the Bucs, but the insanity around signing a bunch of Free Agents drives me nuts. Can't imagine what happens if they lose to Panthers shitty team next week.
McCarthy's dumbass decision turned an even gambling day into big time plus territory with a 4-1 no score in 1 quarter bet as well as Rams.
Eagles lost.
The Giants are going into Monday Night into what is essentially the cat bird seat right now and it's fantastic to feel. I'm sure I'll be brought down to Earth tomorrow, but even if the Giants lose tomorrow, if it's close I'll feel really good about having a chance as long as we can steal a win in our first 4 games. Can't remember the last time I was this optimistic. I think all the haters of drafting Saquon Barkley are going to be in for a rude awakening when he puts this team on his back. Maybe we won't see him explode tomorrow, but I'm expecting a historic season from him as far as the 2nd half of it goes.
Couldn't ask for a better opening Sunday in a season where we aren't very good and playing on Monday night.
I just don’t want Haskins to be so bad that the Skins are in position to draft Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields. Adding either to those two to that defensive front 7 would make them perennial playoff contenders.
"at"
Most normal thing I’ve written in six months.
Eagles 7-0.
I see the Jets offense is already in mid season form lol
My Eagle fan friend thought we were dumb for letting him walk. I told him his highlight reel hits are not worth his inability to cover anyone.
Just about to said that myself. Secondary for the WFT also has done it again. 14-0 now.
Eagles 10-0.
The offense is even worse.
And then grumbled about what a loss he was.
The Jets have 4 yards of offense to the Bills 14 points.
I forgot Desean Jackson was back. He’s like the turd that no matter how many times you flush the toilet he just won’t go down.
He’ll pay for that one
So so dumb. What Caffey meant by galatically stupid.
Was trying to demonstrate that a Lion was dropping his head and essentially headbutted a ref in the chest.

I also see a lot of missed assignments, i.e. not recognizing stunts, etc., which has given the Redskins some free rushers.
Gase first coach fired this season?
Goeder is just killing the WFT. He'll likely do the same to us.
Eagles 17 - 0.
They're the worst team in that division.
They're the worst team in that division.
They might be the worst team in the whole league. They have absolutely nothing going.
Rather the Jets than the WFT
Got it on the next one though.
Haha yup
Give me Barkley and Jones all day.
They drafted Denzel Mims - he's already hurt/inactive today.
How many rebuilds is this now since Bradshaw ended Rex?
Give me Barkley and Jones all day.
Now you’ve done it. You better duck. Lol.
Give me Barkley and Jones all day.
Definitely feeling better about it by the day. More concerned about the Jets landing Lawrence at this point.
He looks terrible, hello bust city
Nah. He’s been to a playoff game.
That’s 2 really bad fumbles for him today. You won’t hear about it because they will win by 21
Giants fans get a pass. We’ve picked in the top 5 for 3 years in a row
It has, though Fat Man drilled me for picking on it some time ago (infamous "boil and bubble" set).
Eagles 17 - 7.
Eagles 17 - 7.
Definitely blown coverage
Eagles 17 - 7.
I agree it looks like Haskins lost a lot of weight.
Up and down. Struggling with speed. Had a holding penalty that was declined.
Sometimes he smothers the rusher, sometimes he whiffs
on speed rushers
one holding penalty so far
TE TJ Hochenson having a day against Da Bear Defense.
Trubisky is inconsistent at qb. Makes a great play than a lousy play - repeat -
John Jenkins ex-Giant manning NT for Da Bears. Looks big but slow.
Lions have some injuries in their secondary. Bears should exploit in the second half. They have some speed on their O that I am not used to seeing
Next week's game could be interesting
Whoops.
It’s only one half of football, too early to start shitting on him

I see what u did there
Right now he just looks the same as last year.
Da Bears have some weapons and the Lion secondary is banged up.
It is possible that Da Bears will rally in the second half.
If not I suspect a full-fledged qb controversy in Chicago starting later this afternoon.

The pressure he’s under is tremendous.
Twitter remarks say he's the only bright spot on the Jets team and is doing very well in his debut.
Is he looking to break the all -time record for getting IVs in a career? He must be well on his way.

Don’t blame him. He just doesn’t like water. Respect
Who would have utilized his talents like Harbaugh?
IMO it’s not that simple, bc there’s no guarantee a shit org like Cleveland would have been as committed to building the offense and team around him the way Baltimore has
But you’re right that in year 3, how good are they feeling about Baker so far?

It's only news when it's the guy that embarrassed the media doing it.
He’s still better than Daniel Jones
Todd McShay
And how bad was that INT by Wentz? Moreland with a great pick.
He doesn’t look like the same player. His cuts are now just average and his hands inconsistent.
He seems determined to keep the WFT in the game.
Haskins throws a lot of balls with just his wrist, instead of stepping into his passes. Marino was an all time great with that strategy.
TD WTF. Thanks Carson! We love you too! Hugs and kisses!
Eagles 17 - 14.

HAHA. Meant WFT.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
That’s his motion. Very flat footed.
Jalen Hurts time?
Don't worry, my broadcast was interrupted by a breaking news segment about it and... wait a minute, I just got an emergency broadcast on my cell phone about it too.
I could be wrong...but he was getting up funny
Not playing very smart. Just cost them 3 points.

Impossible. He was NFL ready in college! Plug and play!!
Turned out to be a good trade.
@snacks
I’m excited to watch Pat Graham’s defense today. Probably the brightest defensive mind in football. His knowledge is crazy!!!
people just need to stop dumping on him.
Missing Brooks and Johnson. But screw 'em.

Really a huge key for things to turn around.

I guess he and Lil Wayne should send Eli an apology letter
The play calling is peculiar as well. He’s like a sitting target
Welcome to the NFL.
17 - 17.
They can't run well. Down and distance is such a big factor and being 3rd and long forces the longer developing plays.
Barkley will help slow down their pass rush.

Completely agree, Anakim.
24-17 WFT. They have scored 24 consecutive points.
I think he's been sabotaged by bad coaching and trash WRs so far
I don't think so. His receivers had to stretch for most of his throws. He also fumbled near the goal line, but might have been down.
Jones is much more accurate and mobile.
Quote:
The more I'm happy we have Daniel Jones. He's just a better passer than those 3. Simple as that.
add Mayfield to that group
Agreed. Jones has some things to clean up but to my eyes, he seems to be the better prospect.

Allen looks as if he’s putting it together. To say Jones is better than him at this point is just being a homer. Jones may very well be better at year end, but that will mean he had a good season.

Probably, but I love it nonetheless.
Idiotic.
I'll probably be still calling them the Redskins out of sheer habit years from now lol
JFC.
Eagles got destroyed and look like trash. Wentz shell shocked, erant throws, he's not going to survive behind that line.
The Skins front 7 on defense is solid but we knew they would be. I'm not sold on Haskins.
Ruhle did what the Raiders couldn’t do: Stop McCaffrey
Quote:
and he’s taken some big hits
The Eagles OL not only lost two quality starters before the season started but Peters is 38 and likely can't handle LT anymore. Their OL is going to struggle all year and they really don't have too many weapons, IMHO, to think they'll pick it up by leaps and bounds.
The Skins front 7 on defense is solid but we knew they would be. I'm not sold on Haskins.
Yup, then Philly’s backup RT left with an injury in Q3. They’re nowhere near what they used to be up front
I watched some of the Skins snaps despite not wanting to watch the NFL. My takeaway is that Philly's offense is a mess and likely will be for the season.
I haven't watched every play, but I think he's been beaten only once. Otherwise, he's holding his own. He looks good.
Judge would have been massacred for that.

They are one more week away from all turning on Mayfield. Guy air balls some throws 10 feet over the receivers heads

Defensive God has flaws? No way. Don't tell the fans who were livid the Giants passed on him (several non-Giants fans were curious why as if he was a lock to be a stud).

It might have been the most egregious mistake ever made by a rookie in his approximately 10th professional play in all of NFL history!
Thats a wash for me...meaning I would play the matchup game there. (Home-Away/Opponent/weather-dome...etc)
Quote:
Or am I overreacting to one game?

Chase Young look good?

Washington DL looked fantastic, although Philly was severely undermanned.
Chase Young look good?
Chase Young is gonna be a problem for a long time
They do love repeating clever witty lines like it was an original idea
Nobody will talk about it because it won't show up in Fantasy Football.
Looking forward to seeing if any beat reporters do their job on this one...
I have the opposite reaction that the dude should be in his 50's by now..
I hope he wins a Super Bowl lol
He is going to realize not only is he old but Belicheck is not his coach.
I split my pools between San Fran and New England
I really don't like to go against home dogs on week 1
Bucs are in for a long season? Based on what?
However, I hope you re right.

He wasn't happy playing here either. I did not realize his happiness was a direct link to his on field performance.
Just go to any Walmart and this height and weight would be considered anorexic.
Not that i recall but there were mean fans there so what can you expect?
No, but he only played there once, in 2011.
The 52-49 loss in 2015 was the last game he missed with the hand injury before he made his return.
That's one of the many bad things about being a bad team for so many years. You never get those calls.
I mean what are you supposed to do? He wasn't even sliding, he fell forward so by the "letter of the law" he could have kept going if no one touched him. Plus the guy barely touched him
He reminds me of Kevin Costner from Bull Durham. They only bring him in to groom the younger kid.
Evans is hurt and Brady is a conservative passer.

He was also a locker room malcontent apparently

Funny how so many on BBI wanted Jenkins cut for a couple of years. Now people are complaining that the Giants cut him.

From what I’ve seen Jordan has had numerous pressures. Brady has been directly affected as he has a guy to his right numerous times.

Cowboys have some things going on along the OL plus some defensive turnover to monitor too. I don't think the NFC East will be bouncing back this year...there might be an opportunity to compete later in the season if this team can survive the early part of the schedule.

It isn't like there's nothing to overlook from the negative side:
Jan. 29, 2012 — Smith is arrested on suspicion of DUI in Miami Beach. The charge eventually is reduced to reckless driving after Smith completes a program for first-time DUI offenders.

Has Ramsey made one play? Lamb looks good.
I haven't heard much from Cooper or Gallup.
They should have paid Littleton. Rams here can't tackle and that's their biggest issue tonight.
Great story though, really great story that makes us all feel good.
Rams should be winning....
Good news is rams offense is good and dallas defense sucks
Cowboys have some things going on along the OL plus some defensive turnover to monitor too. I don't think the NFC East will be bouncing back this year...there might be an opportunity to compete later in the season if this team can survive the early part of the schedule.
Hey, I'd settle for that sort of feel good story with DeAndre Baker any day of the week.

He just needed to talk with his grandma? Did I get that right? What a feel good story.

Just a matter of time. Not with the Giants of course. But someone...

If you got the Giants at 18-1 then your friends are idiots for questioning that...without a Belichek/Brady Pats or Chiefs like favorite in the division, that's a good number for almost any team. Let alone a team with a 2nd year QB in a division that didn't have a team that won more than 9 games last year. Where the best teams in that division are losing key OL pieces almost every week...

Big turn there.
Arrogant as hell.
Tie the game. Your defense isnt good....take the tie. The rams could easily make this a two score game with somewhere around 8 min left.
Id take the 3 there
Lol busting my buddies balls about that now.
Even when it is the Cowboys.
Yep. If that were us, he'd completely blame Slayton. "He's got to know not to extend the arms. It will be called 99 times out of 100"
In fact, I think he said something similar on us in the past
It makes it better, come on. Fuck them.
I can :)
Philly Dallas lose. And they both didn’t look that good and Dallas suffered injuries as well.
Basically a perfect Sunday.
Nownlets get a W tomorrow
Even when it is the Cowboys.
To me, it was a textbook example of why the rule exists.
Interesting.
