being out for the year could be a significant blow. They don't really have a viable backup. They also could have some problems in the middle of the D with injuries

#Cowboys star LB Leighton Vander Esch suffered a fractured collarbone early in the game tonight, source said. He’ll land on Injured Reserve, a brutal blow. The nerve center of the defense and one of its top playmakers, Vander Esch’s loss stings. He’ll be back this season.

Wow. It would have been nice to give WAS that last game and have that guy in our huddle. A true 2 way impact player at a critical position. He looked REALLY good today.

When they show it in slow motion, it doesn’t look like much, but Collinsworth mentioning there might have been some acting involved by Ramsey? How can someone fake being pushed backwards while running full speed in the opposite direction? If you want to call it Ricky tack, fine, but you can’t fake that.

He slightly sold it with his body language (throwing his arms back a bit in a flop motion), and that was a great job by Ramsey, but that’s not to say it wasn’t OPI. I went back and watched it full speed and you clearly see he extends the arm forcibly enough to gain separation at the exact time needed to make the catch. It was definitely OPI. You can’t just show that shit in super slow motion from that angle they kept repeating and think you’re going to be able to make proper judgment. IMO you have to see it at full speed to see how he clearly pushed to gain an advantage. Good call IMO.

One of the worst wins in Giants history.
Awful win. If you really watched him in college it was obvious he’s an otherworldly talent. People who were calling him overrated had no clue what the fuck they were saying. They were basing that off the last couple games of the season (the only games they probably watched) when the opposing teams were doubling and tripling him every single play because they refused to let Young be the reason they lost... and he was still getting pressures and hits on the QBs regardless.
I kept seeing people on this site saying “he seemed to be ALMOST getting to the QB but didn’t have what it takes to get the sacks.” Like yeah that’s because they designed their entire offense to double and triple team him. Before teams started doing that he was averaging like 1.5 sacks per game which is unheard of.
he was going up against 38 year old LT that switched to RT and just back to LT. Who couldn't receive any help because of how bad the rest of the offensive line is and how good the rest of the Skins front 7 is. Guy is definitely at the very least going to be a good football player, but let's give it a full season before we start saying the Skins win will haunt us forever. I imagine this sentiment is going to be much worse tomorrow after Thomas gets abused tomorrow night.

That 38 year old former pro bowler, would probably have eaten any other rookies lunch for them. I'm just saying, it was impressive for a rookies first game.
ridiculous to bemoan a win. Are teams supposed to just throw games? And are we already saying that Young is going to be a much better player than Thomas?
....on fourth and THREE when he had a gimme FG to tie.
I think you take the tie there, unless it's fourth and one or less.
They ultimately got the ball back and were probably given a bad call on the long pass to Gallup, but they were getting call throughout the game I thought.
Not impressed with the OL from Dallas.........at least in terms of how good they have been the last several years there.
He is a big loss. They really need to be concerned long term with him. Already with the neck issues, now he breaks his collarbone. That does not get stronger. He really could have issues with that long term as well. Those do not bode well for long career

He didn't get moved to tackle even, it was guard. At some point a player that gets too old there doesn't mean shit if you were a former pro bolwer or not. Can't hit the bare requirment athletic components to play the position. He was shit today and you should expect a physical freak like him should abuse him. It was about as juicy as a matchup you can get when you are Chase Young.
I think he's going to be a top 10 DE soon and through his prime. Not sure the guy is going to have All Pros on his resume when all said is done. When we are talking about missing on players in the top 5 should be about.
I never liked him in GB. Rodgers made him look a lot better than he ever was.
I agree. It's only 1 game, but in general they looked a lot sloppier yesterday than they have under Garrett the last decade or so. Zeke, Dak, and the WRs have the talent to give a lot of teams problems but the defense was getting steamrolled by a mediocre RB and a mediocre OL. They got dominated in time of possession and 3rd down efficiency and lost despite getting the only TO of the game on a fortunate pick on what should have been a roughing the passer penalty.
don't think Dak is as bad as some make him out to be, but he certainly isn't as good either.
What Dak has consistently shown is that when the burden is on him to make plays, he often comes up short. When he plays playoff-caliber teams, he often comes up short.
And I'm hoping the Cowboys back up the truck for him

is top notch.. Rams offense is crap..

Just breaking balls...I got home for the last few drives, so good to see the Cowboys go down.

Shades of Romo...
Always good on Monday’s after a Cowboy loss
Plus...
Cowboys lost.
PHI lost.
Nice Sunday.

The game was over but he still got his ass kicked
Knocked on his ass by a hand punch

Talk about knee-jerk reactions!
Just fucking stop already. Constant whining about winning a game? Wtf. Never mind that we LOST 12 games last year.

Collins's replacement Earving got hurt, so they had to play their 3rd string OT, a rookie UDFA.
THATS like if the Giants played Tyler Haycraft at OC tonight...
Dak was 1-8 for 11 yards on 3rd down
I never liked him in GB. Rodgers made him look a lot better than he ever was.

The way I remember it - his offense got predictable in GB. Both Favre & Rodgers ad libbed a lot of big plays.
