Week 1 of football seen some strange outcomes and performances. Number of upsets and number of stinkers by some premier players. How have you guys fare thus far?
With only two games remaining, I'm almost certain to go 3-1 in my leagues and will score the most in one league and third most in another. Both teams were led by R.Wilson and D.Adams. I did end up losing M.Mack and my investment in B.Scott didn't return anything of note. My opponents do have J.Connor still left to play against me in two leagues (both .5PPR), but I'm leading by more than 30 points in both leagues, so I should be ok unless the Giants defense implodes.
I did place claims for N.Hines in all four of my leagues (putting down $20 (out of $100) bids in two leagues...I know it's high, but I'm assuming he and J.Taylor will be paired throughout the season) and claims for M.Brown in two leagues where he is still available. Hopefully, I can pair Hines with Taylor in my two leagues now that Mack is done for the season.
Anyone of note you're targeting?
Murray to Hopkins is going to be a force. That long TD called down at the 1 really hurt (i'd be up 17.5 instead right now). But really liking how much Hopkins was thrown to.
I am likely in need of some WR help moving forward. I have Jones, Parker, Green, Slayton and Reagor. Stashed Aiyuk on IR. Contemplating if it’s worth it to pick up someone like Williams if Parker will be our for a bit, or just fly with what I got.
RB, I have Jones, Sanders Taylor now. Might be wise to burn my #3 waiver and get someone like Brown or Robinson on the Jags. How would you guys rank pickups this week? PPR
I'm currently down 5.5 points.
Losing Miles Sanders in both leagues hurt as did Cooper Kupp laying an egg in the one I'm currently losing.
Hines is rostered as are almost every rookie RB.
Also owned already are Shenault, etc.
So, not much for us yet.
My receivers are going to be deadly julio, hopkins and Brown along with andrews at tight end
Need to find a 2nd rb next to Barkley

I dropped Shenault for J.Robinson, who I didn't play this weekend. I'm thinking about getting him back after the waiver period if he's available. With Chark, Robinson, and Armstead (on IR), I never thought I would have so many Jags player on my roster after it was slated to totally tank this season. Strange season.
Yeah i am not to worried about it, i have zach moss on my bench, im hoping that 12 points yesterday can be consistent
Russel Wilson
Adams
Hopkins
Lockett
Ekeler (looked good but quiet stat game)
Mark Andrews
Goedert on the bench and this league has increased TE scoring. Feeling good. Long season though, and my depth is so so. Need to see guys like miles sanders and slayton emerge as legit options.
I started Bell, but of course i should of known better
Lost Mack which leaves me with little or no depth at RB.
Josh Jacobs, Mark Andrews, and the Saints defense saved my week.
Depends on your scoring. If it isn't PPR then you definitely need a TD. If it is PPR then 5/6 catches for moderate yards will get it done.
He should get it if he doesn't get hurt in the game.
Is Drew Brees done? I have Michael Thomas and him getting hurt and watching Brees yesterday worries the hell out of me. The Bucs sencondary is brutal and should have been easy pickings for that 30 yard box the Saints passing game works in.
Joe Mixon seems destined to another dud of a fantasy year. Should have had a better game yesterday considering opponent, but the Bengals line still seems like trash.
Here's to Daniel Jones throwing 2 TD passes tonight and giving me faith he throws 35 TDS this year.
Hard to say with Thomas/Brees. I didn't watch all of the game but it seemed like the gameplan was similar to the Rams lastnight - run and short throws to try and control clock. If Thomas doesn't have a much better game next week against a crappy Raiders defense then I'd start getting a little worried.
Hope Taylor blows up I need him. Placing a waiver on Robinson but likely will be nabbed by one of the the two players ahead of me on claims.

Did you have all 3 Colts' RBs? I had both Taylor and Mack starting yesterday, so it didn't end well for me, especially since my other RB (FLEX) was Akers. Thankfully, R.Wilson, D.Adams, and J.Jones won me the game and potentially the high scorer of the week (a $10 payout each with).
Now I've got a big bid in for Hines on waiver wire.

Hmmm...I wonder if I can take advantage of that and see if I can trade for M.Thomas with a combination of some good players. I did that when I traded away D.Chark and D.Montgomery for D.Hopkins and I.Smith (a throwaway RB) in the front end of the season when Chark was on fire and Hopkins wasn't doing shit. I wonder if I can pull off similar move.
Nyheim Hines (IND)
Peyton Barber (WFT)
Joshua Kelley (LAC)

Half ppr. Projected 9.4 i need 11.8.

That was the gameplan, but that is going to be the game plan a lot this year. The Saints offense runs in this 30yrd box. Put Brees on a team without Thomas (and that supporting cast) and I'm not sure he hasn't retired already. He catches everything in that intermediate range with guys draped all over him. That box gets smaller every year though and at some point it's just not going to pass muster on NFL level.
I think it may make more sense for you to get Hines than most. All going to put up numbers with only potential for more if someone gets hurt. Rare spot to be in. You can focus on other positions with all your attention on waiver wire matchup plays.

Jonathan Taylor. Looking at dropping Kerryon Johnson (took AP a few days to beat him out) for Hines with the Mack injury so I can monopolize Indy RBs. On the other hand, I already have both D. Cook and A. Mattison. How many complete RB committees do I need? I'm wondering if there's a better use for the spot or not.

Yeah, I put in the claim. It's either Hines, or Malcolm Brown or Josh Kelley, or stand pat. Probably worth going for Hines.
Thanks for advice!
Even my unbeatable team needs a historic night from Saquon to eek out a win. Not a good week of fantasy.
So I need some advice/help.
Right now I have Ertz at TE with Jared Cook as my backup.
Goedert is available. I'm thinking yesterday is going to be more of the norm than an outlier between him and Wentz. So what do I do? I can't reasonably drop Ertz. But if I drop Cook, who also had a pretty good game and I like him in that offense, then I will have two Eagles' TEs which is not ideal, and will create bye week issues.
Do nothing?
