But early in Judge's tenure, someone who was interviewed about him claimed that Judge is hilarious. Like, unusually laugh-out-loud funny.
I'd already been forming a very favorable impression of him just based on his thoughtful answers and his obsession with education, and the humor element simply enhanced this impression further.

It was someone who plays/played for the Pats. I almost want to say McCourty for some reason but Im pretty sure more than one guy who has played for him said similar things. That was the impression left by the media pieces shortly after the hire, but since then theyve gone predictably to hand-wringing and speculating that players wont connect with him.
I really hope he becomes the guy to lead the giants back to glory and he’s around for another 10 years or more. Two failures in a row makes one skittish, but this time just feels different.

He's only 38. I'm hoping for more than 10 years! Finding a good new coach sucks!

I hope so.
I certainly have a better feeling with him than I ever did with Shurmur.

The owners and fan base have lost patience over the last 8 years.
I have enough hopefullness with the Knicks and Mets.
