Giants activate Sean Chandler and Chad Slade from their practice squad for tonight. Take that as a good sign for Golden Tate and a sign that Chandler is up for special teams with Tae Crowder banged up
Expect Chandler to play on special teams. Slade will likely be the swing tackle since Peart and Barton have no game experience. No WR elevation is a good sign that Golden Tate (questionable, hamstring) will play
Another note on this: New rules allow teams to elevate two PS players per game and return those players to the PS the next day twice without exposing them to waivers. On the third elevation, the player would be exposed to waivers before returning to PS
Another new rule: Teams can have 48 players active on game day (up from 46). My predictions for the seven inactives: WR Damion Ratley, OL Matt Peart, OL Jackson Barton, DL RJ McIntosh, LB Tae Crowder, LB Carter Coughlin and S Adrian Colbert.

Are these new rules, because of Covid or are they going to continue next year?

Wow I should have actually read the thread because as usual Defenderdawg came through with the answer.
