What infuriates me is the offensive line still sucks. Fleming sucks. Zeitler sucks. Hernandez sucks. Gates is a tackle playing center because we haven’t found a league average center since O’Hara got old. Obviously hopeful about Thomas. Gettleman took a victory lap after assembling this group. He needs to go.
There is definitely a change in the fight this team has. Playing a team picked to go far in the playoffs. The D did not play a bad game. If Jones had not turned it over in the red zone the game changes. Did you really expect a playoff team this year. What was Parcells record his first year with the Giants?
All the excuses for barkley about how bad the run blocking
has been all game and he has nowhere to run just shows how bad DG screwed that pick up. You dont draft a RB at 2 when your OL is terrible . Out of all the moves he has made so far in his 2 years of shit here, that might be his worst move of all

it is not asking a lot to give us four full quarters to watch.
hopefully team improves, as of now they still suck and whole fourth quarter was garbage time do big blue
beat ourselves. A TD instead of a FG after the muffed punt, and at least a FG after that 15 plus play drive, and the game is very different. Pittsburgh dropped a lot of guys into coverage to prevent big plays.
The pass blocking was fine. The run blocking was not. Too many missed assignments, and Gates and Zeitler had problems. There was no where for Barkley to run.
Jones has a lot of potential, but his mistakes are backbreaking and wearying.
The defense was disciplined, and for the most part held up until they were completely gassed. Everyone knew the Steelers would pick on Ballentine.
I'm encouraged, but won't be if we play like this with that many mistakes against Chicago.
I’m okay with tonight. No big mistakes by the Judge and his assistants, the team wasn’t sharp but they we’re ready to play. I’m disappointed by the offense. The defense was better than I though they would be. I know the offensive line wasn’t good but neither was Barkley. Everyone needs to get better. There’s a long season ahead.
to admit, even for BBI, I'm a bit taken aback by the vitriol being posted. Not sure what fans were expecting tonight. The prevailing opinion before the game seemed to be, "I'll be OK if they stay close for most of the game."

I would think drafting a guy in the first round who got arrested for armed robbery would be worse, but idk
Defense needs someone to take over games, an Edge rusher that can actually get to the QB, and the Offense could use another WR to help Slayton on the other side.

It's playing out exactly as some said.
Draft a RB 2nd, can't run block for 3 years. Gonna be paying him 90 million before he's able to actually do his job like he can.

It's been a rough six months. I think we're all pissed off in one way or another.

I was impressed with a bunch of players and the coaching. Obviously things to work on, but there are also people who the needle is pointing up on.
If Barkley wants to be considered an elite player, he can't just get a bunch of yards against the Redskins. He needs to show up in games like this, bad o-line or not. This happens all too often with him unfortunately.

Let’s go beat the Bears.
I think we were actually learning as the game went. This game will be a really good springboard, now they know what to work on

Football fans lose logic and reason when it comes to game time..it’s almost primal.
OL lacks talent and cohesion, defense lacks talent all over and lost their composure and couldn't fix pass set confusion.
No TD after the early muff, Jones INT should not happen, and no recovery on the punt cost them points and momentum they sorely needed to stay ahead of schedule against a tough defense and HoF QB. Steelers ordinary offense allowed the Giants to stay within a reasonable distance. But, a veteran team won against a young team with a lot of holes.
It’s all the Giants have done for years. This is four straight years of 0-1. Been 0-2 or worse seven times in the last eight years. Had a shot tonight but just pissed it away, it’s frustrating.
But that horrific decision by Jones ended the game. Both sides of the ball just had the wind sucked out of them. He just can’t make decisions like that.
Something to build on, but this team doesn’t look much different than last year’s team.
haha
Nice. Didn't look that way for the Steelers. They're 1-0.

nothing new

Jones is going to be good. Under constant pressure he did pretty well. 63% comp, 279 yds, 2 TDs, 2 Ints. Yes the second Int was bad but it happens
Slayton is a stud
The D is going to be good, especially the DL
I liked the attitude they played with, and thats on Judge. I also liked the playcalling by Garrett. This team can challenge
I'm hammered.
Eric, amazing isn’t it!

You can not end a 19 play drive with an INT....
Must have a runnng game....
There must be week to week improvement ....
I'm hammered.
That's another defense who is going to eat this offense alive.
