Similar to how the NBA handled a potential 8/9 seed play-in game, if MLB goes to 16 teams moving forward, then the lower seeded teams should have to win more games until it gets to the LCS (or at least the Division Series)

"best of 3" series should actually be that lower seeded team has to win 2 games before the higher seed wins 1 game.
Best of 5- lwer seeded team has to win 3 games, higher seed only has to win 2 games
