Eli hooked up with him too in his final two swan song games.
That deep post on Monday was real nice. Great throw too.
Looks like a play-maker. Just going about his business too, no antics.
Every time I see an interview with him it seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. Breath of fresh air after OBJ. Now hopefully he doesn't have some life altering catch.
Thought it was a steal when we got him in the 5th round. He's a player.
What confused me is that it seemed like his one big negative were his drops. But I don't think that should be enough to drop someone to the 5th round. I remember that was a big negative for Julio Jones too. I guess he wasn't super productive, but who was throwing him the ball?

It wasn't the only reason he dropped. He played for an offense that was extremely run oriented. There was a ton of projection with him. It's understandable that he was drafted where he was. He was an upside type player with unknowns.
during camp last year that someone was sitting next to his father. At that point he had been banged up and even making the team wasn't a 100% given. He's come a long way from then - and now a big part of the future here.
I'm no scout or anything, but I've watched a ton of football, and he runs good routes, creates separation, has good hands, he's fast, quick, makes contested catches, has good body control, just an all around very good WR. The fact that he has such a good rapport with Jones is encouraging as well. I think we could be looking at an 1100-1200 yard, 10-12 TD season from him.
Very happy to have purchased his jersey a couple of weeks ago. Already even further proves that he's the real deal with that 41 yard TD in Week 1. (Great pass from Jones, too)>

I tell you what today in his current form I'm not sure I'd take OBJ over him, even without the antics. I think OBJ is not the same player he once was.

I am all in on Slayton.
And he hasn't even reached his potential yet.
Agree!
He is a #1 receiver and he is the Giants #1 receiver.
Glad I was wrong. I can’t think of a single drop in the NFL. Could probably look that stat up, wonder if he has any.
