Greens are huge and undulating so just being on the green doesn't mean you have a birdie chance, usually means you are lagging it near the hole.
A lot of holes with false fronts, which if you don't make it up then the chip shot up 7-8 feet onto the green is dicey.
Many holes with doglegs requiring shaping to the shot otherwise trees or sloping fairway will put you into rough.
Normal US Open rough...thick and high. nd not trampled by any crowds this year.
Assume winner is around par (maybe worse if wind keeps blowing).
