I have a couple lineup decisions, any opinions?
Non-PPR need a WR2 and Flex out of:
Cooper Kupp @PHI
Emmanuel Sanders @LV
AJ Brown (Q) vs JAX
Ro-Jo vs CAR
Snell vs DEN
Right now I have Kupp and Sanders, but Yahoo projections (which I rarely go by, but I obviously see them) have RoJo the highest followed by Brown. Kupp and Sanders the two lowest of the top 4 - Snell the lowest overall.
Yes, but he also dropped a sure TD pass in the 3rd qtr. So overall it was a wash IMO

started Boyd, and he was on his way to scoring less than his projection until that final bullshit TD reception in garbage time. And of course I started Green in another league, totally and utterly inefficient...ugh.

Yeah...that drop on that short out pattern was pretty bad. I was just hoping that they would stall out near the goalline at the end or give it to another player.
Marvin Jones @ GB
Emmaunel Sanders @ LV
Pretty sure both of these guys have the other top target on their respective teams out this weekend (Thomas and Golladay) - so they both seem like solid flex plays.
Feels kind of like a tossup, but I could probably be swayed in either direction.
One more.
Ruggs vs. NO
or
Preston Williams vs BUF
I would go with Ruggs normally, but I'm concerned about his knee/ankle. He was off to a dynamite start on Sunday and was clearly going to be a huge part of the Raiders offense, but he wasn't the same after he came down awkwardly on a tackle. He came back into the game, but you could see he wasn't running as well and he didn't register a single touch after that.
That it's MNF and he's got an extra day is encouraging, but he didn't practice yesterday and I'm not feeling great about putting him in my lineup.
I could also use Shenault, but I think Preston Williams would probably be a better play. Parker sounds like a GTD, so Williams should see an increased target share even if Parker does suit up.

I just don't trust Fitz. He's so hot and cold. Either he'll throw for a ton (with his shares of TDs and Ints) or he'll have a total stinker. But just based on pure volume, I would go with Williams as well.

If you want to play Preston, you need to hope DVP plays. If DVP is out, then Tre'Davious White will cover Preston. Which means a bad day for Preston.

Yeah, I realized that after I posed that question. (And by realized, I mean I read it on FantasyPros in their Preston Williams blurb)
It actually sounds like Parker isn't going to play so I'm just going to have to cross my fingers on Ruggs. Not sure Preston is even 100% yet, so either guy is probably a bit of a risk.
I feel I should wait because the season has only just started. But I’m worried one of the other owners is going to get wise to Shenault and snag him before I do.
What do you think? It’s a non-ppr league

Who are your other WR's?
It's not like the Texans have a ton of WR's with healthy track records.

I have a question for you. Would you cut Brandin Cooks for Laviska Shenault? Cooks has the better track record, but is one concussion away from IR. I have been reading a lot of good things about Shenault. He has a lot of potential.

C. Kupp
Preston Williams
C. Sutton
Anthony Miller
D. Slayton
They’re all descent with good potential.

I like Sanders more here. Brees loves those possession throws where he marches down the field and Sanders has that polish. Could be a high scoring affair or a lower one because that Saints D is better than many give it credit for and Michael Thomas is a big loss. But I think you could easily see a low scoring affair where Sanders doesn't get in the end zone but still has 7-10 catches and goes over 100 yards. I think Green Bay could put up points though and the Saints could play catch up and I don't really see the reverse as much where the Saints get out way ahead and are sitting on the lead.
I've had Jones in the past, he could have a good game here no doubt and the Raiders defense didn't look super impressive but Jones and the Lions are so hard to read. Even in other times with Golladay out Jones could have real nothing burger games.

Is your league a keeper league?
You could drop Cooks, pretty sure he'd get scooped off waivers pretty quickly, but as long as you're a) not planning to start Cooks and b) comfortable with the risk that Shenault may not be reliable for a few weeks then go for it.
Keeper league I like Shenault more than just for this year.
I’m guessing I should stand pat for now and see how things go.
Thank you for the feedback.

As an FYI...Shenault is not available in either of my leagues.
I have Jonathan Taylor and I'm expecting RB1 numbers the rest of the year, possibly even top 5.
What the hell do I do with Mixon? Great back, but shitty offensive line, and he totally blew it on a couple run plays. I always thought his vision was better, but having him now in fantasy two years in a row its not the case. Maybe he's the type that needs to get in a rythym? That is going to be a rare occurence this year with that line. Wondering if anyone here would trade for him and what realistic options are?

I think I'm with you - I liked the way NO used Sanders last week even though he didn't have a great line. They had him in the slot and outside. Have to think he gets a good amount of looks with Mike Thomas out.
Probably going to roll with him.
Corey Davis bumped up a little IMO.
Also, Brandon Aiyuk, will make his debut for SF.

Yea, I’m into Davis this week. I also feel like Sims Jr. is being universally underrated if anyone is looking for a fill-in at WR.
Jonnu Smith might be the biggest beneficiary tomorrow.
(I say this as someone starting him.. obviously I'm trying to convince myself this is a good play - I think it is, though)

I think Davis is cleared
He may be fine and have a big game. I wouldn't sit Davis - he's a rock solid WR3 this week with a good matchup. But I do think this probably sets up well for Smith to have a good day and think he'll see a healthy number of looks.
I think I'm playing him because I've got Sutton/Parker both iffy. If Sutton plays I will put him in but I think i'm benching Parker regardless.
Other options are Robby Anderson or Reagor - but I don't really trust either's role yet so i'm planning on playing Davis over them since he seems like a good bet to get 5-10 targets.
My other decision is the flex spot which could be any of the above or Singletary or Hockenson. I think I'm actually leaning Hockenson because that game should be a shootout and I'd imagine Stafford will give him a bunch of targets.
