Huge talent gap. Poor defense with bad communication. Some players just seemed lost. Young, game QB that tries to gut out a win only to fall short at the end. I kind of felt like Cincy was going to lose (is that what other fans think of the Giants)?
Wasn’t really thinking any particular giants season compared to this bengals team, but there are similarities. The bengals D is pretty brutal. Burrow is going to be terrific. He’s an awesome prospect.
I saw OBJ have some flashes of greatness, Bobby Hart look terrible at RT, BJ Goodson be out of position and miss a lot of tackles, and Vernon sit out because of injury ... was there a year they were all together in NY?

Not to knock anyone who missed burrow’s fumbles, I did too, but at times people get too critical of jones without recognizing other QBs have flaws too.
that put the Browns back on the Cincinnati one-yard line following a four-down goal line stand by the Bengals. I was impressed by how the Bengals continued to fight after that brutal turnover. I can recall years when a play that like would totally deflate a Giants team led by Pisarcik or Brown.
Cincy was in the game until they were in a 13-15 point deficit....Much like the recent Giants teams, good for a half and then score gets out of reach little, then D's shut down the pass.
Burrows got the goods though, he'll be fine just like our own DJ. Though he may not make the entire season getting smacked around like he did on Thur.

He's going to be playing behind all year, and Mixon won't matter much because of it either (which is also similar to Barkley).

I don't see Burrow as a protect the rock kind of QB, I assume you meant that as the game manager tag. He's definitely more than that.
I will say this tho, there's no shortage of receivers in Cincy.
Regarding the Cinci OL, Hart just sucks, but they also had a backup playing, right? I wonder how they will look if fully healthy.
