“Rookie left tackle Andrew Thomas was beaten several times in pass protection and didn’t have the best of games in the run-blocking department. The Giants’ offensive line has been a concern through two weeks, and while Thomas hasn’t stood out as the weakest link, he’s also not a definitive strength two games into his NFL career. “
...but recovered a little and was able to push his man back. Jones held the ball too long and should have thrown it away. See clip below. Link - ( New Window )
I thought he had a much worse game than last week,
He made the correct choice on blocking the Bear defender on the inside on the Mack sack. He appears to be the least of our worries on the OL.
No he didn’t, he gave Mack a free path to DJ, while the DL he went t o lock was already engaged with Hernandez. It happens, he’s a rookie and will learn, but he did not make the right decision.

Big difference from Turnstile Solder!!!
His 1st 2 games he’s had to block Dupree and Mack and IMO has done a good job!

Terrible? I didn’t see terrible, I see him moving people, and doing a decent job in pass protection. Thomas had a much worse game.
