slot guys in Engram, Sheppard and Tate.

Jones would be really helped with a big possession receiver, ala Robinson, although given his age and upcoming salary I don't think he'd be a great fit.

Shepard is a decent slot guy, Tate is the exact same guy except older and Engram can’t do half his job. Slayton was a find in the 5th, but I don’t know if he’s a number one.

I think that the Giants should insert Peart in at RT soon. Fleming just isn't getting the job done. It's hard to get the ball out when your flushed out of the pocket.

Got guys like Board or Stick or whatever getting meaningful playing time. It’s like a preseason game out there.

Our receivers are bad. I had some conversation with Eric during the draft about taking one of the receivers available but Giants drafter lineman, cornerbacks and linebackers.
And our wide receiver corp still sucks.

We need SPEED. We have slot guys except for Slay. Jones has to hold the ball a lot of times because it takes our guys too long to get into their routes. That with a combination of a shaky line is not good.

That's why I was surprised when the cut Coleman.

I was never impressed by this group. Slayton has speed but the rest of the group struggles to get open. Huge offseason need is WR

a huge need, even more so since Shepard might miss a few weeks. Board and Ratley are mostly for ST or they wouldn't' have been cut. We might see one of the PS WRs before the end of the year, even if there are no more injuries at the position.

They brought in Ratley and that's why they cut Corey Coleman. He is still a free agent so we shall see what happens next. Ratley came when the season started so have to give him some time to adjust plus I don't see a lot of deep shots so far.

Good slot guys are ideal for getting the ball out quick. But our guys are not quick nor very fast so quick hitters take time.

We lack speed, separation and size to present the QB a place to throw the ball. However when you look at our routes they seem well below decisively crisp. We still have not faced a sophisticated offense running on all cylinders scared to see what happens then. This is a team that will have to change its offensive plan in two games we can’t run the ball DJ better get his ice tub ready they must become a passing team from this point on.

noticed when teams play bump and run we struggle. I don’t think our WRs get open quick enough when they get jammed at the line. Thoughts?
