Not sure what the expectation was for the Giants, but I thought the Giants would win 6-8 games, but anything can happen since football is hard to predict. I never expected the Giants to go to the Super Bowl, yet the playoffs so not sure why people are disappointed thinking we had high expectation this season.
Compare to the first 2 games last years, the defense has been playing better and gave the offense a chance to compete to win. With that being said, I still think the offensive line will get better since there was no preseason and you have 3 new starters. I think by the end of September we will see how this team really is and what the team will look like throughout the season.
You can say what you want about Gettleman, but this past draft and free agency has been good (especially getting Golden and Logan Ryan with the price we gave them). It's not his fault what happen to Baker with the incident, Sam Beal opting out, and he try to get a corner but the deal didn't workout. There wasn't much good corners out there and giving Ballentine been practicing so its hard to adjust to bring in someone when the season started and you not use to the system.
Its only 2 games and there still a lot of football left, especially since our division doesn't look that great as well (Dalles give up 39 points and could had lost to Falcons who aren't good, Eagles are 0-2 like us, and redskins got smoked by Arizona). This team is still rebuilding and have to see how we progressed.
If the Giants don't win more than 6 games, Dave Gettleman will be out of the job after 2020 season is over. We just have to wait and see how the year goes and go from there. Go Giants.
So QBs or OLs don't get seriously injured? or bust out?
See how dumb that sounds?
See how dumb that sounds?
no they can't. doesn't fit their "Gettleman bad, everyone else good" narrative.
Are you slow? Mentally challenged? Stupid? It's one or the other, unless.. you have a specific agenda. Nah, you are just fucking ignorant.
