DJ's stats in 3 games without Barkley in 2019

GMen72 : 9/21/2020 10:52 am
In the 3 games SB missed with an ankle last year, DJ averaged 189.33 passing yards per game and had 3 TDs and 6 INTs (half his INTs for the year).

Hopefully, he's a different QB and the OLine gels quickly.

Also...any chance Gettleman looks at someone like Davante Freeman?

1- did you take the time to read the posts, like the stickied one at the top about FREEMAN?
2- your choice of the three games last year is laughable for a number of reasons- a) Jones was just getting his feet wet asa starter when Barkley was gone. b) You can count the TB game as a game without SB as he was lost very early in that game. c) two of those three teams were the Vikings and Patriots. d) The Giants were a bad team with poor coaching and Jones had little to NO threats to go to EE was out some, SS was out...
3) last year to this year means nothing...

Obviously I saw the Freeman post and asked anyway. Solid point!

Last year was last year, except the trend continued yesterday with 0 TDs and an INT without Barkley most of the game...against a below average football team.

Maybe they are a below average football team, maybe they arent.

But they are definitely not a below average defense.
I will just add that this is a BS stat without any context

First of all Barkley left in the TB Game when we were down big.. DJ played awesome the rest of the game and we came back and won.. DJ ended up throwing over 330 yards that game and most of it after Barkley was out.. The next game we won 24-3 without Barkley there was no need for DJ to throw in that game.. After that we Played Min and Patriots.. both had formidable defenses.. Realistically, we won half of our games last year without Barkley.. Not trying to diminish Barkley but just putting out the facts.. with context..
So, 1 out of 5 games without SB,

DJ plays well. I'd call that context?

You want to leave out guys like Tate, Shepard and Engram missing those included games, too, no? Jon Hilliman was his starting RB for a game for pete's sake.
