I believe he'd visited SF last week and had a few other visits earlier in September. Though he may view this as the best spot to get carries now so if we want him I would expect they'd want to get him signed before he has a chance to go elsewhere.
I have several friends from my college days that work in the NFL, got a text from one that’s accurate 9/10 so I figured we were good but couldn’t find a link so I deleted. My apologies.
Freeman doesn't suck. He has same power/speed combo from when he was a top-6 back. His problem is injuries. If he stays healthy he can be a top ten back in this league still

The Giants don't need him to be that — though if he is, great. The Giants need him to be able to carry the ball 10-15 times a game, average more than 4 yards a carry, be reliable in pass protection and catch a few balls out of the backfield. If they limit his workload they may be able to keep him on the field long enough to make a difference.

Sounds good to me. If they determine he is fit, he's a no brainer.
don’t understand why covid testing occupies a full day. Current
testing has results back in 1/2 hour and a covid history and physical with x-ray should take another hour. So rest of time is used for interviews and meeting coaches etc.
Why put off on field work for 24 hrs. seems strange but i think it’s an NFL rule about Covid which convinces me more it’s pretty dumb. But I guess we’ll see tomorrow.

No worries. You still may be correct tomorrow.
My bad.
