A lot of injuries this weekend. #1 and #2 overall picks in most leagues are both out, so people are going to be scrambling to pick up their replacements/backups. With that being said, will D.Lewis or W.Gallman be RB1 for the Giants? I know that it's a craptacular pickup, but Lewis did ok when he came in.
So far the waiver claims I've made are:
M.Davis
J.McKinnon
D.Henderson
D.Lewis
W.Gallman
D.Freeman
I am 0-2 at the start but would have won this week if I substituted Carr (on my bench) for Lamar Jackson. LOL
Good news is my team is good, it's the owner who sucks. lol.
Not sure I'm claiming anyone this week - we have FAAB. I may try and trade some WR's so I don't have to make critical game day line up decisions.
So, not all disaster.
Grand scheme of things I actually think i'll be ok, just need one of Moss/Dobbins/Gibson to get a solid 50%+ of the touches. The rest of my team is strong and with some luck I can pull out some wins.
Big thing for me is that I have Mahomes and Rodgers and I'm fine with either the rest of the way which means I can trade one for a RB. Going to do some digging today to see what kind of offer I can make.
I don't necessarily need anyone, but it's always good to find a player that can potentially take over as my FLEX at some point. While I doubt that either Giants RBs can be that, I like J.Kelley (who I didn't include) to become a viable complement to K.Ekeler. I have Kelley in two leagues, so I want to pick him up for my other two as well.

Moss has been a big disappointment for me. I have J.Taylor, J.Robinson, and Z.Moss (along with J.Kelley, C.Akers, and C.Hyde) in my league. At this point, Moss is going to remain on my bench and Kelley may move into my FLEX unless I can pick up M.Davis or D.Lewis. That's why if they'll figure out who'll start this week, that would be great.
I may roll with Gibson for now.
And I'd need to drop potential keepers to get them in Chase Claypool or Michael Pittman - given my RB's are Jacobs, Sanders, Taylor and Moss I don't see the need to drop anyone, so that's why I'm sitting this cycle out.
I do like Henderson and Kelley though - but not available.
I will put in a waiver claim on the Colts D - vs the Jets.
I’d think Gallman will be getting a lot of work, might be more of a split backfield.
I need to drop a player, would you drop D.Jones or Reagor? PPR, I have Stafford who i will likely play but would like an upgrade at QB. WR: I have Jones, Green, Parker, Slayton and Reagor.
I'm holding Reagor too but will probably move on if he doesn't do something vs. Cincy.
We only start 2 rbs 2wr and a flex. So I have options. The bad part is I am running the early gambit. This week I am playing the 3rd best in points 294 (I lead with 308). Last week I played the then #2 team and I won. So lets keep finding ways to win.

12 team league. I’ve had the worst luck with my first two opponents, lead the league in PA by like over 150 total points against. Ridiculous.
Unfortunately with the loss of weapons, I just don’t think I should bother holding Jones anymore. Don’t think he has more upsized now than say Minshew or Burrow who are also available on the wire. I’ll just roll with Stafford, Think he will put up better numbers when Golladay returns, that offense is built around him
Quote:
once that starts converting into 5-10 targets a game he's a very playable WR with upside. AJ Brown didn't go over 5 targets last year until week 7 and didn't score his first TD until week 4. Week 7 was also when Tannehill arrived - and while I don't think Wentz is getting replaced he is streaky so when their OL gets better and he gets more in sync with Reagor there could be a streak. That upside is worth holding a couple more weeks I think.

My thing with Jones is, look at his schedule. Is there a game you feel confident in him before week 12? Because I don't.
I wouldn’t waste waiver priority on any NYG back. I can’t see any one guy producing on a regular basis

prioritizing Lewis (freeman not avail - if he was I'd probably just try for both). But Lewis has looked good and he should get 10+ touches per week and most of the receiving work unless Freeman comes in and turns back the clock.

14 team PPR. There are at least 3-5 receptions per game to whoever plays RB in passing situations since this team will likely be behind a lot.
Seattle and Baltimore are the only 2 comparable remaining matchups even close to the difficulty of the first 2 games.
The divisional games all have shootout potential, and the Cincy, Cle, Ari games down the stretch and in playoffs are potential boom games. Garbage time stats count.
This week's game vs. SF's completely depleted defense will be a good test because if he can't play better than he did vs. Pitt then he's not worth rostering right now.
Devonta Freeman
Joshua Kelly
Darrell Henderson

Long term, I would go with Kelley as my top pick. For the short term, possibly Davis then Henderson. As far as Freeman goes, who knows. But I'll admit that I put in a claim for Freeman behind Kelley (in the leagues that I don't have Kelley already). I don't need Davis or Henderson for the short term.

I think Henderson is #1 due to upside with Kelly next behind him. Both already have roles that could trend up if they continue to perform and they are ascending players.

Hmmm RC...not sure I can trust your advice on this one. ;)
Pretty sure both of those scenarios could not possibly have gone any worse than they did.
