and it is because the whole NFC EAST sucks. Sy's review mentioned possible positioning coming these next few weeks and look at these schedules:
Giants- 49ers, Rams, Cowboys and WFT
Cowboys- Seahawks, Browns, Giants and Cardinals
Eagles- Bengals, 49ers, Steelers and Ravens
The Football Team- Browns, Ravens, Rams and Giants
When you look at those next 4 games the Cowboys would seem to maybe have the better shot but, the Boys defense is putrid and they should be 0-2. The Seahawks will put points on them and I would think the Browns will too. The Cardinals are a team to watch as they can play physical defense and their offense is starting to really gel.
Eagles can get better against the Bengals and beat up 49ers but, the 49ers may be getting their offensive guys back by that game and the Egales problems are fairly wide spread. If they don't win both of those games they will be facing a very tough task the next two weeks with the Steelers and Ravens.
WFT- they look to have the hardest road as they get the Browns coming off a bit of rest having played Thursday and then the Ravens. The game against the Rams will not be a good matchup either as the Rams defense and solid offense will pose problems for the Skins.
We get the 49ers right off their costly win over the Jets and seriously banged up. Then the Rams who actually worry me a lot with Aaron Donald coming after Jones. Then we get two division games that we have to win. Win those and assuming the others in our division struggle still and suddenly we are feeling a whole lot better.
It'd be nice to string together some wins for sure. A few divisional wins would be a welcome change for this team!
The NYG are in the same boat needing a win this week with SF as banged up as they are, and I think there's a good shot that happens. I don't think they will beat the Rams or Cowboys, though it's possible. They should beat the WFT.
WFT have the least friendly schedule of those 3 teams since they don't get the Niners as beat up as they are now. They could beat the Browns or the NYG but Dwayne Haskins has not shown any serious signs of improvement even with 2 relatively easy defensive matchups so far.
The Cowboys offense is the only very good unit in the division and unless they continue to have injuries pile up it should carry them to wins over inferior teams like Cleveland, NYG, and Arizona and to a healthy lead in the divisional race.
The line...will block....harder. LMAO HAHAHAHAHA rofl
Every year, I think we'll finally start to see the tide turn. No evidence of it so far this year, either. This is going to be another long, miserable football season that's over well before Halloween - which is what we're used to.
Jones has 520 yards passing through 2 games.
the rushing stats don't add a ton to that, but clearly the stat shared was wrong.
Lol, we've been terrible but there's no way that can possibly be true.
But combined, no.
Looks like we were about 290-295 total yards in both games, so that must have been what he meant.
I'm not a myopic homer. There's just no way to know what's going to happen week to week. Teams start out hot and fall off a cliff. Teams look inept, then jell. Some 0-2 teams will still be in contention at the end. Some 2-0 teams will finish with losing records.
I'm going to pay attention as long as it's interesting. My definition of interesting is pretty broad — young players developing and/or the chance to make the playoffs and compete for a title.

Some teams start 0-2, finish 2-14, fire their GM, and draft a generational talent at QB with the 1st pick.
Dare to dream!
Some of that is luck, but it's also the right type of players and good coaching.
Still not convinced we have the right type of players and good coaching to change that.
So it's a very hard sell to think we are ready to compete. Even in the Least...
