Dont get this at ALL, unless he has completely lost it from a talent standpoint. Maybe that was the breakdown with the Giants...not worth nearly what he is asking for based on what he may have showed in his workout.
BTW...you really think Tampa is a BAD team? They may not win the SB, but I think as presently constructed they are far from being a bad team.
How is that being a dick? The Bucs don't value him enough to clear a regular roster spot for him. They might be modestly disappointed if he gets a deal to leave, from us or anyone else, but I doubt they'd care all that much.

A team can't just claim him. He's eligible to be signed by another team (other than if he's one of the guys protected by the Bucs from Tuesday forward each week). He's under no obligation to accept an offer - he can stay on the Bucs practice squad if he wants to.
