Weekly favorite games thread. #1

I thought it would be interesting and hopefully good reading if we could go over some of our favorite victories against certain teams...

I will begin with NFC teams as we play them more often and depending on replies I will then proceed to the AFC (AFL).

SO ..I will start with the 49ers simply because we play them this Sunday...

Every Thursday or Friday (if this goes well) I will move on to a different team in that division and so on till the NFC is done, and if there are indeed, a lot of responses from the previous week I will see what game is cherished by most of BBI against said team and post those #'s here the following week.

(yes I have too much time on my hands currently)

SAN FRANCISCO 49ers-

Tough to choose one but I will go with 49-3 in 86 playoffs.
Dominating performance with Morris and Banks, LT etc.
Rice fumble was a joy to watch, not to mention the final score...

but to me, the turning point against them came in 1985 WC game. That is where we showed them we can beat them. The 86 regular season game showed us we can come back against them, down 17-0 and win 21-17.

One of the NFL's most memorable/historic games was

NY Giants 15
SF 49ers 13

1991 NFC Championship game.

That's my choice.

1990 NFC title edges out 1986 MNF then 2011 NFC title and 1986 divisional. Ask me tomorrow and I could re-arrange those 4.

I have been watching the Giants for what seems like forever and the so rarely make it look easy this one stands out for me. There are much greater games in Giants lore but this one was a fucking blast. My sisters boyfriend was a Niner fan and he talked so much shit to me before this game it was nuts. The man didn't have the balls to answer the phone. My sister said he locked himself in their bedroom and would not answer the door, My sister is awesome, she brought the phone to the door and was yelling, my brother is on the phone. Not a peep. She was laughing at him. Great stuff.
