Who and how are they assessing WR talent ? Are Holton and Ratley better than Coleman and Bachman who both had good rapport with Jones during training camp? I can see giving the 3 UDFAs a chance to develop, but these are 2 journeymen. And please no more of their special teams talent crap. I just don’t understand this.
First 4 weeks of the season are about total evaluation right? We’ve heard that. Like an extension of the preseason. So I wouldn’t necessarily read all that much into it I think they just want to find out what they have
RE: This is the 1 thing that bugs me about JJ right now ...

31 other teams haven’t bothered to sign Corey Coleman since we cut him, yet some of you still act like we cut Jerry Rice in his prime

^This. I don't think Bachman has singed with anyone either.

While I can’t argue the point about the lack of interest from other teams, the point about familiarity us valid. Especially for a young QB. Vets can get in a groove with new players much faster than younger QBs.
I think we don’t know the whole story. My guess down the road we will hear about some type of issues either locker room related or off the field issue?
I hope that’s not the case and like many thought he was having a good camp but the silence is kind of telling imo.

Didn’t we read a report that he just wasn’t fast enough anymore? I may not be remembering exactly right...but the reality is, coming off a knee reconstruction, it’s entirely possible they just didn’t see him having the same ability.
To the rescue he is fast, he is tall, he is 29, he does not like contact, he’s a one trick pony. There is no physicality to his game jam him game over just what we need another guy who can’t separate.
Forgetting about STs contributions seems like a pretty narrow and dumb

They saw some kind of upside.
Non-issue

I mean, you answered your question in your OP, no?
Any body check that we are going to be without our two punt gunners and that the role for Horton?
Oh never mind
