95 years ago today the Giants took the field for their first regular season game at the cycledrome in Providence, RI against the Steam Roller.
This is the only game I don't have documented for 1925, I haven't been able to access the Providence Journal archives sicne I'm out of state, so I don't have much detail to add beyond the final score of 14-0 favoring the Steam roller.
Here are a few photos from early in the 1925 season when Jim Thorpe was still wearing the Giants red & blue, and a team photo after he had departed.
