I am enjoying my Sundays without suffering through this in person. Maybe a Thurs night game. That said they should open up a socially distant seating so that the maras can watch it either not sell out or all opposing fans attend. They need to feel the embarrassment that they deserve.
tailgating and I would probably go if we were good, but to watch us lose by 20 to the Bucs in a couple weeks in the middle of November in a lifeless grey stadium sounds miserable.
The stadium experience in NY is bad, and this is coming from a season ticket holder. I can't even justify it. It's so lifeless and boring.
I would. I am going for the experience. The last 5 years or so taught me that -- it is just entertainment. Being the worlds #1 Giants fan or a "knowledgeable football fan" is complete waste of time. You pay the same money as the other guy. And guess what Bill Bellichek isn't going to hit you up at half time and ask your opinion on adjustments his team needs to make in the 2nd half.
Properly spaced, I'm sure the risk is fairly low, but there's still security, walkways, etc.... Why bother? Absent COVID, I'd be there each week. Obviously much, much less fun when the team is terrible, but I just love going to Giants games.
RE: Our vote for/against the way the organization is run is with our money
I wouldn't pay to go to a game of they had the fucking vaccine available in the concession areas.
I didn't think of it that way. If I didn't have any issues with the Giants as an organization, I'd go if I thought it was safe. Limiting attendance is fine, but what do they do about bathrooms, concessions, etc.?
But you're right. I'd vote with my feet until we get new management.
I do'nt really enjoy live NFL games to begin with so I already wouldn't be going. The better question would would I go to a UConn Basketball game and I think i'd still pass right now.
....with proper spacing and masks required (which would certainly be the case).
But then I'd have to make a full day of it to see some pretty bad football LOL........so while I'd love to get back to even more normalcy, I'd have to pass.

And tailgating would help with normalcy, but tailgating in a parking lot at 25% capacity would remind me of the games I attended at the end of 2003..........that's not tailgating.
of that putrid stadium and this putrid team. So, now? Hell no. Maybe, and this is still a VERY small liklihood, maybe for something like $15 tickets and concessions deals I'd take my boys, who never went to a game.
Any other year, hard YES. I became a fan as a kid, LOVED the tailgate parties, the shitty 70's Giants games were an afterthought. The old 4J tailgate I used to go to back in 78-79 is STILL going strong.
TV is another story. There are far better ways to spend a Sunday than yelling at my TV. I'll come back when the Giants start winning again.
So, no, I wouldn't and it would have nothing to do with covid.

and I would NOT watch this garbage
even if 'no COVID' and you gave me primo seats for free
been watching since 1964
it's going to be a LONG time until this team is used to winning again....pretty sure I'll be long gone
I'd rather be hiking....

If I had the opportunity to see the Giants at an away game (other than Philadelphia) I would do it.

Been to enough. If I'm going to a game, it's going to be on the road.
2) Two awful teams;
3) Dreary stadium.
The only reason I would have considered going to see the 2020 Giants live was to watch Saquon Barkley in person.
But as noted in a cold damp lifeless stadium they built makes it tough.
Know of several people who punted their season tickets regardless.
Attending a game is a 13 hour day for me, I honestly might end my streak for a game or two.. if they came back this season.
The weather is nice
My crew is willing to attend with me.
That is for a Wash game we have a chance of winning.
I probably pass against a better opponent
