This is the mold of what I would love the Giants to be.
Power run game to set up play action.
Smart, well coached, and disciplined.
Strong defense with a solid scheme and pass rush.
Creative play calling on both sides of the ball.
Good at drafting players, and evaluating/identifying talent.
Developing players and getting the most out of their abilities,
Physical! Good tackling. Limited yards after contact.
They bully people on both sides of the line of scrimmage with strong lines.
It’s sad because watching this game between two very good teams makes me realize just how far away the Giants are from being competitive.

Yup ... they play the hard nosed brand of physical football that used to define the good Parcells and Coughlin teams. Sigh.

But he never consistently trucked people like Henry. And that’s w almost 25 more lbs and only .2 seconds slower in the 40
Jacobs ran with a bit more hesitation, and at times he would stop his feet and get stopped in the backfield, but he was certainly a physical runner and inflicted punishment on tacklers even more frequently than Henry,
With that said, Henry is clearly the better runner. Jacobs only topped 1000 yards twice in his 9 year career, and Henry has already ran for over 1000 years twice in his 5 year career. Also, hard to imagine Jacobs leading the league in rushing like Henry did last season.
Somewhat surprising that both of these physical runners stayed relatively healthy with the impact they both experienced on a play by play basis.
Woodson and Laundry chime in regarding Jacobs. Tennessee has a nice team. I wonder if the QB will be the limiting factor come playoff time. They do remind me a little of the Giants good teams with the exception of QB.
... of both of these teams right now, but yeah especially the Titans. Vrabel is so impressive, and you have to love the way that team is built right now. Exactly what I want the Giants to be.
I'm rooting for Buffalo. I'd like to see them do well.

No kidding. Fun team to watch.
Great return by Butler. A classic reminder that you need to play to the whistle.
