I don't think the Giants filled the roster spot when Oshane Ximines was placed on IR. They are also going to put Lorenzo Carter on IR.

He’s one of the better tacklers on the team. He’s a useful player in his own right, who sets a floor under one ILB spot. Also, his presence reminds the less-gifted young LBs (I.e. all but maybe Brown) that they can make millions just by mastering their craft and carving out a niche for themselves.
