I get the lack of talent....but overestimating like they did with Downs is worst.

Uh, he’s a 3-4 rush backer. How big would you like him to be?

You want a 240 lb linebacker taking on 300 lb tackles. Rush Backers should be north of 250. Preferably in the 260 lb range.
Cam Brown probably wishes he was 240

and the coaching staff loves him lol
Ok ... so we go into this game at WR with a hurting Slayton, an aging
Spider56 : 10/18/2020 9:03 am : link
& always questionable Tate, a newbie Mack and a journeyman Board; but we got 11 LBs and 11 DBs ... no wonder DJ plays with confidence.
Harris another body in a "body of bodies"

In the pre-season, I had high hopes that after starting 0 - 4, we'd start to put it together and show the league that DG & Judge know what they are doing.

Sadly, this team lacks top-end talent. Barkley was the only guy on offense who truly "scared you" at all when he had the ball.

Harris is a "warm body" and if he sees serious snaps we'll see how easy this defense snaps...
Guys

like James Harrison and Joey Porter played at 240 and they were feared edge rushers in their time. Hell, Elvis Dumerville was barely 6' and he was feared as well. Size isn't everything

The best to ever do it was 238 lbs lol.

Born:
February 4, 1959 (age 61)
Williamsburg, Virginia
Height:
6 ft 3 in (1.91 m)
Weight:
238 lb (108 kg)

But okay.

Makes no sense to me either. Heck, I’d be happy to see Bachman (Turner Overdrive) take the field too.
And with Board out, we’re down to 2 1/2 WRs ...
Spider56 : 10/18/2020 3:39 pm : link
plus whatever they call Engram these days ... this is so pathetic. What are they thinking?
