It wasn't the best performance but it matters. This team is going to take a while until it is competitive. There still is a lot to be done but they have to get a win to start move forward. Good for Judge.
At least for the rest of the season, we should go with Peart at LT. I also want to see Lemieux for Zeitler at some point.
I thought Jones played very well considering he had almost nothing to work with on offense. We don't win this game without his running. And his toughness cannot be question. The INT was because of pressure, but he still should have been able to throw it away. I thought it was OOB anyway. The defender's elbow hit the white line. Everett made a great play to try and stay in bounds but did not do so.
I'm not a fan of the three man rush.
Ryan played well despite the TD at the end. It was a great throw by Allen.

I want to see the team improve and show signs of an upward trajectory. If that's 1-15 with fluke last second losses or 7-9 with fluke wins against third string QBs, whatever. What are we putting on tape? Are we improving? Are we playing poorly?
The offense is a fucking disaster.
The defense has its moments and I find that side of the ball somewhat encouraging but the negligent misuse of assets there have us lacking edge talent.
Officiating was awful. Interception was out of bounds and the play clock if official was at zero on TD pass
Peart at this time is a better LT than Thomas whose technique is plain awful.
RE: Andrews was back at left tackle later in the game
Our new HC just notched his first win. We were 0-5 heading in so who really cares about the circumstances?
Since the SF game the Giants have generally played better ball each week. The division sucks so next week can still be interesting. Whatever.
Was this better football though? Kyle Allen went 31-42 for 280 and we let him march right down the field for a TD in crunch time. Let’s not even get into the offense
It was an unfortunate pass for sure. Give him some credit for trying to throw it away but give him some criticism for being poor at it.
But, it was no interception.
Perhaps it wasn't. However I cannot give a high round 1 draft pick credit for doing something as simple as throwing it away. I'm not asking for a TD in that situation, just play smarter and kick the FG.
RE: So much talk about the interception being a bad call

the issue is the decision to throw that, not the resulting call.
It should never have been put in the hands of the referee to decide.
He should’ve eaten a sack? Throw away wasn’t the problem, it was a good decision. Tough throw, bad luck in the call. But the decision seemed fine.
It's not a tough throw. Launch it six rows into the stands. What is he aiming for there by making it even remotely catchable.
There was a defender in his lap bc of blown protection. I agree launch it, but he was backfoot and under pressure.
Also across his body. That ball went from the outside hashmark to the pylon. To me he's not throwing it away. He saw blue and wanted to give his guy a play, but I'm not clear that he saw the triple coverage in the area.

Don’t have a dvr so I can’t rewatch. It seemed like a throwaway under pressure to me.
showing up in the game thread. Rooting for a loss this early in the season.
You all suck...and you know who you are.
Because winning 1-4 games is pointless mediocrity. Much better to be the worst in the league than it is to be meh. Meh breeds meh, at least being awful will get the team top talent in the draft*
*If it's not Gettleman picking
RE: RE: RE: RE: So much talk about the interception being a bad call
Washington gave up the game probably for the 1st rd choice in the draft lol Can you make it anymore blatant??! No coach would have gone for 2?! Complete joke...
you really can’t go back and forth on. If they pull the plug on Jones, they really can’t go back to him. However, I can see it happening later in the season.

LOL!
This team is not good enough yet to win any way but "ugly".

Typical Giants luck
They were never getting the first pick 🤡
What was your old handle, dupe?

Suck. What a terrible win
You as a fan suck, please root for someone else.
It’s pretty much guaranteed that he does
Well, 2-14 and another Andrew Thomas with the fourth pick isn’t all that thrilling either.

I just looked there. Unbelievable, how anyone can put as their main concern in week 6 with the # 1 pick 😂
Good way to set yourself up for disappointment
From who? Jones?

"questioned."
If poor play can see Thomas benched, how long should the leash be for Jones? We're in the race here and should be trying to win games.

BBI represents a cross section of losers who live for ‘misery loves company’ ...
Nope lol

Graham loves those 3 man rushes that never work. We are at week 6 and he still hasnt adjusted yet

Was it 4th down? Would a sack taken them out of FG range?
