I mean the Jets have to fire him ASAP, right? The team has quit playing for him. Although as long as they have him on, they have a chance to get the #1 overall pick.
Yeah, I think things have reached that point. Which is too bad in a way, because changing the coach in mid-season rarely does much to improve the team.

Hey, Falcons crushed today and the Texans almost upset the Titans. It can happen.
in the middle of the season. But, Gase's handling of Becton and Darnold two weeks ago was egregious enough to be fired on the spot. He very well could have ruined their 2 franchise players in 1 game. The way this team plays for him, or doesn't, is an added indicator that he needs to go and it should be a long while before he's given another shot.
but as bad as the Jets are - everywhere in the organization it absolutely reeks - I would not be surprised if Lawrence elects not to go to the Jets if they select him.
and one I completely was against for ANY team (but thanks Jets for taking that bullet), but Greg Williams is a cancer on every team he goes to. I was thinking a couple years back that his defenses seem decent so maybe he'd be a good hire. Glad WE don't listen to my random thoughts and avoided THAT bullet.

My hope is that firing Gase gives the Jets a spark and they miraculously win a few games. But the Falcons roster is infinitely better than the Jets roster.
Ryan/Jones/Ridley alone makes the Falcons roster a more capable one than the Jets.

Gase has made a career out of being the guy who bought Peyton Manning donuts and coffee every morning in Denver.

Hey, it worked for him. By riding Peyton's coattails, he was able to net two head coaching jobs.
Might be our only chance.

They will likely be double digit underdogs in every remaining game lol
