Giants defensive snap counts: Fackrell played every snap in place of Carter. Martinez missed his first six snaps of the season while being checked for a concussion. Love back in a big role after Colbert’s late scratch. Giants played a big nickel: 3 DL, 2 ILB, 1 OLB...
That meant more snaps for Crowder and a smaller role for Golden. Heaviest workload of the season for Williams and Tomlinson. First defensive snaps for rookies Harper, Brown and Coughlin. They were used in a specific package in passing situations.
Giants offensive snap counts: Peart slightly out-snapped Thomas at LT, but both got three series. Offense moved the ball better on Peart’s drives but can’t say LT play was the reason. Rookie Austin Mack WR2 split reps with CJ Board before Board’s injury
I don't. I noticed Firefox does strange things with images lately so it could be me.

I see them. They are .jpg files.
Does anyone else see it like this or can you see the actual images?
What do you mean where is McKinnney?
He's on IR
Also what a signing Logan Ryan has been in the 11th hour. Playing 100% of the snaps and making two huge plays to end the game, blanketing someone on the 2pc in the back of the endzone and recovering the onside kick.
He did yeah.
Giants had 48 offensive plays; Washington 73. (May also include special teams in the count?)
Given the Giants defense played fairly well against the run, why did Washington run 50% more plays than the Giants?
Maybe two reasons:
(1) Our offense wasn't a model of proficiency in moving the chains;
(2) Our pass rush is bottom of the heap allowing a journeyman QB to throw for over 30 completions.
Great to see a win yesterday, and it is tempting to go through several woulda, coulda, shoulda scenarios based on several close games this season. But, there you have it: a 1-5 team going down to Philly for a Thursday Night Game.
Don't get too comfy with a win over another bottom-dweller like Washington.

and I can't believe how much I noticed Mayo for bad plays on the limited snap counts he had. Oh and Love has to go. Where is McKinney??!

Sorry, I knew he was injured, thought he might be back this season and was hoping to get him back asap. Safety seems like a black hole for us, kinda like left tackle and since we made McKinney a 2nd round pick thought maybe he's more likely to have talent than Love or Colbert.
They may be able to get by with these personnel but not ideal.
Leonard Williams looks pretty awesome in this defense. Imagine if we had one legitimate outside pass rusher to pair with him on passing downs.

Mckinney reminds me of a pre-injury Kenny Philips. Physical, but with the ability to play center field. McKinney was a ball hawk in college

Funny, last season I said Julian Love was too damn slow and got blasted by many.
I feel much better with Ryan Lewis playing over Ballentine.
With McKinney coming back hopefully in 2-3 weeks, he could take Love’s place. I’m not sure what role Madre Harper has on this team....hopefully we can utilize his assets.

Have a back end free safety. Peppers is better playing close to the line, Love and Ryan are better in a 3-safety look covering wideouts and slots, McKinney is probably better as a strong safety, but we can hope he may be the free safety though a bit slow.

McKinney is supposed to be the FS, thats where they were going to play him. I guess he did both at Alabama.
