We won a game! I'm happy for Joe Judge and for the players.
It was a struggle. Daniel Jones ran well. Nice throw to Slayton.

Next game vs the Eagles is very important for our off-season: we win this game and we are in the hunt for the playoffs. If we lose this game, we need to create cap space for 2021 and try to get a few picks. I would try to re-sign Kyler Fackrell and Logan Ryan since I love them both. I would try to keep Freeman as our backup RB (while still giving him the ball 5-6-7 times per game in 2021). I would re-sign Fleming as a backup T.

We can put us outside of the Trevor Lawrence race. The Jets will win it easily.

Now, from now on.... we need Daniel Jones to play good enough to know we won't need a QB in the 2021 Draft. Daniel has to elevate his play along the OL, WRs and TEs. Freeman is doing a very good job.

what we need to know before the end of the season is:

- Is Daniel Jones a great QB? if so, don't draft QB in 2021
- Are Andrew Thomas and Matt Peart the future starters in 2021 and are they ready to anchor the Ts? We can then pass on Penei Sewell.

if we have a YES on both questions... we will have the luxury to draft Ja'Mar Chase, Gregory Rousseau or trade down for some picks (especially if Fields or Sewell are still on the board at our pick).

I'm not a fan of drafting WRs in round 1... but the talent level of our WRs is abysmal and if the Ts are good, then we need better talent around Jones so he can become the QB we want him to be

Gregory Rousseau is not my kind of pass rusher too... but his force is ability and speed... He's not a complete pass rusher but he will be surrounded by behemoth so the speed will help the entire D. Imagine Fackrell/Carter and him on the other side with Lawrence and Tomlinson/Williams... that's a good start!

Our cap situation is not so great:
Nate Solder's contract is awful(even worse with the covid contract modification)
Golden Tate should take a pay cut... or be released. I would do it this season so we won't have a cap penalty for next year.

We may have to decide between Tomlinson and Williams... I would like to keep them both

I hate Evan Engram since the day he was drafted... We need to trade him during the season and get a pick in return and use the 2021 capital elsewhere... We can sign a veteran for cheaper and/or draft a TE in the draft who will be good for a fraction of the price.

Kevin Zeitler needs to show more to earn his place next year on the roster at his actual salary (would be be nice to see Lemieux out there).Imagine if Lemieux is playing well, we can use some Zeitler's money to retain both Tomlinson and Williams on the roster.

A part of me wanted Lawrence... charisma, arm, mobility, field general, etc...

A part of me want to see Daniel Jones becomes a great QB (top 5-10 like Eli) and win us a SB or 2...
