out due with injuries except for Malcolm Jenkins. Guys starting had basically no playing experience, not alone being starters.
Sure enough, they still were able shut down Eli and OBJ to beat the Giants.
As I recall we went into that game determined to run the ball on the early downs. Brilliant strategy. Passed on 3rd and long and couldn't block them. Secondary was never tested.

Well, we had Saquon right? Also seem to recall an awful pick thrown near the end zone right before half by Eli testing...you guessed it, Malcolm Jenkins.
Are both the types that have had their way with us. Not to mention, if their "no-name" WR can take it to Baltimore's secondary just imagine what they will do to us with all of the time a 3 man rush will give Wentz, who is also a threat to run the ball.

I hate to tell you this, but Malcolm Jenkins isn't on the Eagles anymore...

Goedert isn't likely to play.
NYG doesn't have a bad defense at all.

I know. Only mentioned him the second time because of the comment made that Eli didn't test the depleted secondary....he did.
If you've watched him, he's absolutely cooked. Fell off a cliff.
The Eagles have got a lot of issues. Gotta go get this one.
Agree about Ertz. I own Goedert in a keeper league so I have been watching Ertz probably a little too closely. Goedert will be the main TE going forward. Ertx might have some gas left in the tank but knowing how Philly works, and how Ertz looks and how much money he makes, his days in Philly are numbered. I believe his contract is almost up but could be mistaken.
As Soul Sister #1 Aretha Franklin once belted out:
Don't play that song for me
'Cause it brings back memories
The days that I once knew
The days that I spent with you
Oh no, don't let em play it (oh no)
It fills my heart with pain (it hurts)
Please, stop it right away
'Cause I remember just what he said

I think it means the Giants had better win, or the usual suspects won't be able to add it to the list of "competitive games against good teams" that's been keeping their spirits afloat for 4 years.

How the hell did their WR's take it Baltimore's secondary? Did you see the game. Dropped passes all over the place and they were completely inept outside some seriously questionable PI calls.
Their WRs may be worse than ours at the moment. We got pressure with a 3 man rush this week, the Eagles line is no better than the Eagles.
Honestly this game is probably going to look a lot like the one we just played.
The Philly WR situation is unbelievable. It's a MASH unit.
Oddly, I think Fulgham kid is pretty interesting. From walk on at Old Dominion University to, I think, practice squads at both Green Bay and Detroit, the guy has a journey that is a movie script...

I agree he actually looks like a player unfortunately. How did he not stick in GB? Their wr depth after their top 3 stinks.
I knew the Eagles were going to suck this year and its mostly because
Yeah. how did that work out last time...worst game of the year.
Sure enough, they still were able shut down Eli and OBJ to beat the Giants.

Their offense is trash, offensive line is completely decimated.

Doesn't matter who the Eagles are without. They always bring in guys off the street and still beat us!

Even if I'm hoping they completely implode in order to revamp their entire approach to running a franchise.

Prefer this guy playing it. As Time Goes By...
Bingo. More griping on losing out on the Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes.

are they going to have enoigh lineman?
Capable receivers? Can you name them without looking up their depth chart?
And have you seen their patchwork OL? It may be worse than ours right now...
I just am not sure if Shepard is coming back this week at WR for us or not.

My favorite movie of all time.
Play it Sam
Play, "As time goes by."
The sarcasm is not lost on me, but I just gotta say that any win against Philly is a good win!

(LOL, nah. It's the Eagles. They own us. And we still suck.)
You were probably saying the same thing about Aaron Donald a few weeks ago...

If so he will have 4 sacks and force a turnover or three

Yeah, and if you did you were a fool! True, the Rams sacked the Giants 5 times that game, but Donald only got one half of them!
