He was working on the side but at least back at practice last week. The Thursday turnaround obviously makes it trickier but he possibly would have been on track to return to practice this week - they may figure it's worth giving him a limited amount of snaps knowing there's 10 days until the next game.

Why would they start the clock now if he didnt have a chance? Why not wait until next week?

that would be awesome!!!! We really could use him this week in a winnable game that would get us right in the thick of things in this division.
its a walk though though, so they really won't be able to judge until pre-game. Fingers crossed!
