#Cowboys players initially bought into keeping things internal. Now as they sit 2-4 the discontent is leaking out. On the coaching staff “totally unprepared. They don’t teach. They don’t have any sense of adjusting on the fly.” Another “they just aren’t good at their jobs”
One can only hope somewhere Aaron Rodgers is smiling
Giants should be 2-4, with a shot to get to 3-4 Thursday night.
Let's not get crazy Eric ;)

They should be 0-6, they got a gift from the Falcolns

Even could be 0-6 if wasnt for the Falcons absolute choke job.

Easily could be 0-6...remember the huge lead Atlanta blew? It eventually cost their HC his job.

0-6. Don't forget the idiot Falcons....
Might be a career-altering day otherwise.
I don't think Garrett's a great coach either, but get the sense he works hard at it regardless.

That Redskins pass rush is going to kill Dalton...
And perhaps McCarthy is a bad coach?
No, but he's probably better than Mike McCarthy.

Garrett's an average coach. Comparable to Marvin Lewis in that regard.
Was very happy we didn't get McCarthy. I have no idea if Judge will bust, be the next BB, or somewhere in between, but avoiding McCarthy was a huge win this offseason.
Surprised that Gase still has his job. McCarthy may not survive the season.
The guy's claim to fame was a playcaller for Rodgers. He really didn't appear to have a hand in the defense or special teams. Now he goes to a team that isn't even running his offense.
He was one guy that I absolutely did not want for the Giants. It is very early yet but he basically took a veteran team and it sucks hard. I don't blame injuries because I think many coaches would be envious of the talent that was on the field last night for them.
My best friend is a GB fan, and based of what he tol me, let me tell you I was dreading the thought of NYG hiring McCarthy
I don't think he was great, but I also never thought Mike McCarthy was great either. Glad neither of them became our head coach, that's for sure.
more frustrating than their implosion continuing on the heels of playing us, is that for some reason officials have had some brutal calls against them that have cost them games - and yet for some reason their game against us was the exception where 2 TD's came off the board.
Yeah, that was weird. He put a bullseye on his back by admitting he lied to Jones about watching every Dallas down last season. I guess he has his guaranteed money.
I'm not sure I agree that their defense is the lesser extent. It is brutal, and is on track to be the worst in NFL history. They gave up 7.5 yds per carry last night! AZ didn't even play particularly well, and won by 4 TD's.
That said, they still might win the division.
Giants should be 2-4, with a shot to get to 3-4 Thursday night.
They should be 0-6, Atlanta win was gift wrapped too
Now this is the one I really really really want to be right about. And full disclosure, I plan on screaming this daily around here and proudly pounding my chest if this McCarthy tenure here spirals into gloriously awful, lengthy, and painful ruin.
I don't think Garrett's a great coach either, but get the sense he works hard at it regardless.
That's my take too. Garrett probably isn't great but he's not bad and there's a big difference between the two. Garrett was consistent in Dallas. He got the most out of some important players.

Mike McCarthy says 'didn't coach very well' in the Cowboys' loss Monday. His players reportedly agree - ( New Window )
True dat.
You can be a bad coach and win for a year with someone else’s players, ala McAdoo. When you coach one team for 10 years, you can’t get away with that. Garrett may not have been the best HC but he wasn’t the worst or even close to being bad.
I agree.
I am also think McCarthy was not a good hire. The story posted by the OP was not a surprise given his history. And remember, after he left GB, they won 6 more games the following year. I think the Cowboys traded down with respect to coaching.
Which means they are giving up on Dak and that will never happen.
