Crowder has some potential, but he’s really raw. He jumped up the depth chart because other LBs sucked and/or were injured; but aside from one big play he didn’t seem to have mastered his responsibilities (or tackling).
Yes he is a raw. But Crowder showed decent recognition
I’m fine with seeing what the kids have during this three weeks. I already know what Mayo can do...run stuff a little, that is about it. Hopefully coughlin or Brunson can show us something to get us excited about next year, much like what Crowder has done.
This move replaces Carter. We're down one Edge this brings it back to even number. With a hamstring that Crowder has it means he's probably out 4-6 weeks. Maybe Brunson gets a shot now. Timing is good anyway on a short week it's time to use the back of the roster.
... out of my irrational optimism balloon with this news. Sheesh. Ok, well let’s see what the other young dudes can do ... but man, I really love Crowder’s speed and range.
Not a big deal, since he likely would have missed that much time with a hamstring injury anyway. It sucks because he looked promising. He certainly doesn't look like a throw away last pick in the draft. It's good we got to see a little bit of him the last 2 weeks.
The first thing I thought of was him when I saw the news of Crowder going on IR. I am going to remain cautiously optimistic about Crowder's upside but he has impressed me a great deal these past two weeks.
Signing Jabaal Sheard to take his roster spot who has some moderate pass rushing value.
A pulled hammy is not the same as a torn ACL.
Definitely missed a few tackles last week...many guys did.

Unusual, probably a one year deal, but it should be fully implemented.
