If they wanted to make a big move- trade Darnold and go all in the Endeavor for Trevor.

Rosen got a second. And Darnold's body of work is obviously better. So you would think a first just based on that basic premise.
But I also wouldn't be surprised if the Jets only got a second or third. Darnold may need some serious re-wiring with no guarantee his ceiling is any higher...

The Jets aren't getting a first for Darnold. Cosell has observed that while Darnold often impresses with good second reaction plays, he consistently messes up easy plays that QBs master in high school and that an NFL QB must replicate 100% of the time. His lower body mechanics remain terrible. Nobody is giving a first for a QB with those established defects.

That's what Peyton Manning did when he did not want to play for the jests; he stayed his senior year at Tennessee. The jests ended up with Keyshawn Johnson with their #1 pick, and Peyton Manning went #1 the next draft to the colts.
