Ugly football - Joe Judge style.

"We're gonna hit you in the mouth with 4 quarters of relentless football."

More or less that's what Judge promised and that's what he is delivering, as the team in remade in the image of their head coach.

The OL still has a long way to go, but it looks like the body types, physical skills, and mentality is in place. Does Gates continue to improve tonight? Do Thomas and/or Peart not miss any assignment? Hernandez and Zietler look to continue their improved play, and do it vs Fletcher Cox and Javon Hargrave.

Alex Singleton, Duke Riley, and Nathan Gerry. Who? Those are the starting 3 LBs on the Eagles depth chart. Looks like the Eagles have taken a page from Jerry Reese's "how to build a defense" playbook.

Look for big games receiving from the Giants' RBs and (gulp) Evan Engram.

and the aggressive defensive front, I would try a boatload of screens.

We tried that against Dallas and Jaylon Smith had a monster game. I don't see any Jaylon Smith's out there tonight.

I'd like to see Nick Gates go at it with Fletcher Cox

We will score a TD early like we always do and play good D.

At halftime it'll be 10-7 Either way, either us winning or them.

Then in the second half we will get a bunch of 3 and outs and the Defense will wear down. The Eagles will score 2 TDs in the 4th Q and we will lose 28-10

didn't he? I know he got in a few games at the end of the year but not sure I recall which ones.

Hopefully he did and got a little sense of what to do versus their D-Lineman.

The Giants aren't quite to four quarters of relentless football yet.

More like 1 quarter and 13 minutes, then other 1 quarter and 13 minutes. The last two minutes of each half has been disastrous. If they start playing the last two minutes of each half like they played the previous 28, they'll make an obvious improvement.

Well, they're definitely not at JJ's stated goal yet.

But hopefully people who think the Eagles' DL is going to beat the Giants' OL like a drum - because that's what they've done the past decade or so - are overestimating the Eagles' DL talent on history, not really where they are NOW.

From my seat, I am not sure the Eagles' front four is as good as the Redskins.
