Referee for game tonighy

Who did a lousy job in the Cardinals/Jets game earlier this year.

year ref who has already had several controversial games under his belt.

The biggest gripes have been about his crew's consistency. They've called the 2nd most DPI calls and the 3rd most OPI calls and the complaint is how some of the calls seem random while more obvious PI calls are let go.

Here's the point to worry about. His crew throws 3 times more flags on the visiting team in their games. The highest such ratio.

Eagle cornerbacks getting very aggressive with hands and body contact into Giant receivers, and no calls.

Some often coming right over the back to knock away passes.

also be tough to stand up to the scrutiny ... but how in heck does a multi billion $ per year business continue to justify using PT folks for these critical jobs? The refs should be spending their weeks reviewing game tapes and analyzing their crews tendencies and anything else that can help them do a better job when it counts.

I've sadly gotten to the point where as soon as we score a TD I immediately expect a flag thrown nullifying it for some bullshit reason

Don't forget teams who play us also get an extra 1 or 2 seconds on the play clock past 0

What do we expect, though? Did anyone expect a 2-4-1 Philly vs. 1-5 Giants game to get one of the top crews?
