Well I am at a loss for words. I was at the game with my brother and we were laughing at the eagles fans leaving the Linc after shep's TD. But soon after we looked at each other and said "Yeah this still probably won't end well" Up 2 scores with 6 minutes left we had 0 confidence in this team. As I said in my post 2 weeks ago: Chronic Losers. We just do not know how to win football games anymore. Without having watched the highlights here are some of my thoughts:
-Said this last week but Engram needs to go, as a TE he needs to be able to do a lot of things, and all he does is run fast. He can't block, his routes aren't great, and doesn't know how to catch the ball (you HAVE to make that catch). Get rid of him.
-Shepard puts a bit more light into this offense, it's clear DJ missed him. Andrew Thomas looking more and more like a bust.
-Defense was atrocious, particularly our secondary. Peppers, Lewis, Ryan and others all got burned early and often. We at least held them to under 100 yards rushing so that's something I guess. Penalties killed us
But honestly forget the X's and O's I am just so sick of this. We have been losing for so long and I'm just done. It's hard to keep clawing at things that could be spun as positive, I just want to win football games. I know you all feel the same way but for some reason tonight was a real low for me (probably didn't help that I had eagles fans yelling in my ear). Hang in there Giants fans
Can you please quarantine your stupid to your own thread?
Yeah, that's when it ended, technically. But what were the chances of going 50 yards in 30 seconds with no timeouts AND having Gano, who'd spent the past 15 minutes buzzing his hip flexor with an electric massager, nail a 50-yarder?
It would have been game over if Engram caught an absolutely perfect pass.
I completely agree.
Other than Eagles fans yelling in your ear which sounds horrifying, I find I see more of the game and get a better sense for what is happening watching on TV.

Never said it influenced my thoughts, just found it interesting how Eagles fans left with 7 mins left but Giants fans had very little confidence in their team to close it out.
