I'm honestly not sure how reliable many on here regard the Twitter account 'Unnamed NFL Source' but some seem to give it a lot of credibility. Either way I thought this would be worth sharing but as I mentioned I really do not know how reliable they truly are. After the game they did a lengthy video on Twitter discussing mostly what is happening with the New York Giants.
They mentioned that Dave Gettleman will be relieved from his duties as General Manager and that could even be as soon as this season. Also that they expect the next hire to most likely be Kevin Abrams but to obviously not rule out an outside hire such as Nick Caserio. Apparently Kevin Abrams is a "progressive thinker" unlike Dave Gettleman and was actually on board with the decision to move on from Eli Manning when it was proposed under Jerry Reece.

So it's easy to sit back and point out Gettleman's whiffs, but my philosophy is to judge a general manager not by how many they get wrong, but how many they get right. And with so much young talent on the team, it's too early to tell. Judge may be here, but the jury is out. I'm still quite hopeful.
I honestly don't know anything about the account, whether it has any legitimacy or not. I figured I would post it to see if anyone on here knew given so many elsewhere vouch for it. I don't necessarily buy into what is being stated in that video either, I just found it intriguing given what is said.
JFC. This franchise is not only deserving of what it is going through; it begs for it. This is the kind of dopey shit that went on from 1964 until Rozelle convinced George Young to come.
he said he didn't know if it was legit. some people on this board gotta relax.
I agree wholeheartedly.
But I’ll be stunned if it’s not Abrams. Mara just can’t help himself.
That tends to happen when the same problems show up time after time.
Who knows if Abrams would be a good hire, but given the state of this franchise, it could be a suicidal one. I give John Mara a ton of shit, but I think even he'd be aware enough to realize the optics of promoting from within for a team that has more than 6 wins once in 7 seasons. And if he wasn't that aware, Steve Tisch will be sure to remind him.

The point being not seeing anything that suggests actual insider knowledge.
